Hot off the press! Lulu won the bid on the piers using illegal tactics, Willow is in damage control mode after a scathing exposé and Trina’s stalker has been revealed! A General Hospital commentary for the week ending October 16, 2026.
It was a busy week on General Hospital with a lot of exciting twists and turns. There’s so much soapy goodness to discuss, so let’s get to it and kick things off with Lulu’s hit piece on Willow.
The Congresswoman’s Dirty Laundry
Dear readers, I was over the moon when Lulu published her article and outed Willow for drugging Drew and possibly being involved in Brennan’s stroke and subsequent locked-in syndrome. I was cheering Lulu in my bedroom. Willow’s dirty laundry was all over the streets of Port Charles! I was giddy that the payoff to this long, long, horrible Drew and Willow saga was finally about to resolve. Psych! Nope. Willow gets away clean again.
Fake News
Lulu will pay the price for telling the truth while the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world (iykyk) will get away with everything again. My only hope is that detective Joe seems interested in Lulu’s story and may follow up with an actual investigation, so maybe someday thy evil doers will get their comeuppance. Here’s hoping that Lulu, Joe, Michael, Tracy and BLQ team up to take Willow down once and for all. Throw Alexis in there, too. She knows Lulu is an attempted murderer.
Silence Is Not Golden
None of this makes sense to me. Why would Drew not want to tell the world that Willow shot and drugged him and take back his congressional seat? Why? Drew knows that Jack Brennan is dead, and that any evidence Willow had against him died with Jack, so why on Earth would Drew stay silent? Why would he not take advantage of Lulu’s article, go on ten talk shows and talk about his ordeal and get public support and sympathy to feed his massive ego? Why is he zeroed in on taking down Sonny instead of the woman that shot and drugged him? Make it make sense.
Sidwell, too. He is already in prison for life, so why would he deny that he said those things to Lulu and not get the joy of taking Willow down with him as he threatened many times? Why would he not revel in the revenge? How many drugs could he have been on and still be totally lucid with all of the details of his crimes? He didn’t seem drugged out to me all week long. You?
This storyline makes as little sense to me as Josslyn Jacks being the spy/CEO/wannabe-mob boss taking over the piers. Good heavens.
WSB Barbie to CEO Barbie
I can’t figure out what the General Hospital writers thinking. So, I got to the point of acceptance that they were using Joss to start a new generation of WSB agents. She did training, she worked with Agent Vaughn and went to WSB boot camp and learned the basics of being a spy. I love Eden McCoy. She’s badass. She pulled off that location shootout like a champ. She’s amazing. None of my scrutiny is directed at her as the actor – she’s doing everything they are throwing at her.
Now General Hospital has dropped Josslyn into the role CEO at Jasper Jacks Enterprises as part of her undercover assignment. Okay, got it. But suddenly Joss is a corporate mover and shaker, making bids, deals and strategizing even though she’s never even worked in an office before and probably doesn’t know how to load paper into the copier. Sure, she is undercover, but it’s not like some CEO spy is advising her on how to pretend to be an executive. It’s like the writers have fashioned her into a Joss Barbie doll. What’s next? Firefighter? Astronaut?
From Novice to Expert in a Month
Just a month ago Josslyn told Hudson that she didn’t know what to look for on a resume and tag-teamed Michael into to reviewing resumes, but now, a month later, she’s taking on all the CEOs of Port Charles and winning? Maybe we are expected to believe Hudson is the real shark, even though he was portrayed as a lacky coming to town to bring Joss paperwork from Jax.
Then There’s Hudson
Hudson was supposedly so scary that Delilah had to flee him, and Ethan had to shield Phoebe from him and lie about being her dad, but other than a few shady phone calls, he seems like a great guy. Working out at the gym, befriending BLQ and Chase – I’m just not scared of him. Are you? In fact, I am starting to like him.
I could root for Hudson to get together with BLQ and raise Phoebe and cut Chase out because Chase is just so damned dumb. When Mac urged Chase to retake the Detective exam and get his shield back because of what a wonderful detective he is I laughed and laughed. There have been about twenty crimes going on in his house under his nose for months and he detected zero of them. And the ones he thought he detected — like Tracy pushing Willow into the lake and Michael framing Willow — never happened. Stick with the desk, Chase.
Hudson’s Real Connection to Josslyn
My best guess is that Jerry Jacks is Hudson’s dad and Hudson is acting on his father’s behalf. That means Jax is being held captive somewhere while Jerry takes over Jax’s company. But I have a vivid imagination, and I like to try and guess what’s up ahead like I’m a soap psychic. I’m not, but sometimes my hunches are right. What do you think, dear readers?
Emma Drops Some Truth Bombs
In perhaps my favorite scene of Friday’s October 16 episode Emma told Joss off and I was fully Team Emma. Emma doesn’t have all the details, but she’s not wrong on the facts. Joss is a spoiled rich girl who doesn’t care about anyone but herself. Josslyn’s laser focus on taking down Sonny, despite the fact that everyone in her family loves and cherishes Sonny, is mean. Sonny is literally not doing anything bad at all right now, other than sneaking nooners with Justine.
Of all of the criminals in Update NY, Sonny is the one Josslyn is focused on? It seems the WSB would be more concerned with people who did not retire from mob life, who were actively running drugs, or kidnapping people, or even looking for Jack Brennan. But she is obsessed with Sonny. I was thrilled when Agent Baines reminded Joss that the penalty for disobeying a direct order was two years in Steinmauer. I’m almost rooting for him to toss her in there for a month.
Josslyn’s History with Sonny
When Joss told Emma that she had a complicated history with Sonny, and Emma rolled her eyes and sarcastically said, “Oh, I had no idea. It’s not like you haven’t mentioned it 1,000 times.” Ha. Team Emma! When Emma said Joss has been “an entitled little bitch forever” she wasn’t wrong. I keep wondering if Emma will end up in the WSB, too. I mean, after all, she’s Anna’s and Robert’s granddaughter – and she’s not afraid of danger. It would be funny if Emma enlisted in a quest to help Anna only to find out that Joss is still in, too. Right now, Emma assumes Joss quit the WSB to be a CEO.
By the way, I swear I came up with the Barbie line before Emma said during Friday’s episode. Ha!
From the WSB to General Hospital
Another mysterious figure in town is General Hospital’s new Dr. Tristan Roberts, and with more and more mentions of Robert Scorpio, we know that Robert’s onscreen death will happen soon. I kind of think that Tristan is going to be Robert and Holly’s secret son and he changed his name for protection. When Robert dies, we can expect that Holly and Ethan to show up, and if Ethan sees Tristan and says, “What’s my half-brother doing here?” I’ll be so pleased with myself for guessing correctly.
A Quick Visit
One great thing about the pier storyline was the appearance of Ms. Wu (Lydia Look) and her nephew Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). I was delighted to see them on canvas, and I hope this means they will be back in the mix soon. I would love to see Selina take down Joss in the great pier war. Sonny can’t do it, but Ms. Wu certainly could. With Curtis in prison, where can Selina hold her high-stakes poker games? A pier floating casino like the Haunted Star would be amazing.
I’ll Be Watching You
But I digress.
All week long I was thinking about the unsolved mystery of Trina’s stalker. I hope I don’t offend anyone here, but I am generally not a fan of music storylines on soaps. I’m okay with the occasional karaoke night, but watching Trina and Gio do musical sets isn’t thrilling viewing for me. Yes, Tabyana Ali has a wonderful voice, and Giovanni Mazza is a brilliant and talented musician. But I prefer scenes with Gio and Emma or Gio and Sonny, or Trina and Ava in the art gallery over these mini concerts.
General Hospital has an abundance of talents. I mean, look at these guys. Do you really want Jason and Spinelli to burst into song at Metro Court’s pool bar? (Please enjoy some General Hospital hunks singing a Christmas song!)
The Suspects
I contemplated all the possible stalker suspects. When Trina mentioned Spencer and said, “Life rarely gives you second chances,” I immediately jumped to thinking that her stalker might be Spencer. I thought perhaps that Spencer was back from the dead and watching Trina from afar to see if she’s over him. There was also the possibility that it was Heather Webber (whom we know is returning). Did Heather have Spencer tied up somewhere all these years?
I was convinced that Quinn and Simon were misdirects. I thought the real stalker would be someone we knew well. If I were a General Hospital writer, I would have revealed it around Halloween for a super spooky storyline. Like the Black and White Ball back at Wyndemere in 2007. What a fantastic storyline! You know, back when Wyndemere looked like a castle instead of a revamped Hampton Inn. (Please watch this clip and explain to me again why we can’t have Liason????)
Side note, one of our dear readers @varanger.bsky.social suggested that maybe the stalker was Taggert, the dad who raised Trina! I hadn’t even considered that idea, but I loved it! But nope. He’s still in the wind.
And the Stalker Is…
But nope. It’s Quinn. As soon as Trina had car trouble and he sauntered up to her car and offered to give her a ride, I said, “Girl. Do NOT get in that car!” But she got in that car. Ugh.
I thank my lucky stars multiple times a week that the guys I went to college with watched out for me like I was their blood. But these days I read so many horror stories from young women about being terrified every place they go. Trina should have locked herself in her car and waited for AAA.
The Godfather of Port Charles
Readers, I am perplexed about Sonny. Sonny is out of the mob, right? So how will Sonny owning the piers keep Port Charles safe? He kept drugs out of town through fear, intimidation, violence, and murder when necessary. If Sonny is truly out of the crime business, what’s he going to do if Johnny Zacchara shows up and opens a weed store on the piers? Send Jason to beat him up? (Mob stuff) Send one of his goons to intimidate him? (Mob stuff) Burn up all of Johnny’s weed in a mysterious fire? (More mob stuff.). How does he think he can control things with an iron fist if he stays on the right side of the law?
Lawyer Ric or Pseudo Enforcer
Also, Ric. Ric is a great lawyer and has seemingly turned into a decent guy, so having Sonny use Ric as his pseudo enforcer kind of bugs me. I think Sonny is going to get Ric killed. Ric and Sonny don’t know that Hudson isn’t just a corporate assistant. If I am right and he’s connected to Jerry Jax, Jerry would not hesitate to end Ric to protect his son. (Again, this is all speculation.)
As to Ric’s love life, I want Ric and Alexis. I know Ric wants Liz, but no. Liz can be with Dante, or with Jason, or even Greg Vaughn’s version of Lucky if the rumors are true that he may be coming back. But Ric needs to be with Alexis. Nancy Lee Grahn and Rick Hearst are just so wonderful together, have chemistry galore, and they bring out the best in those two characters, IMHO. But on the other hand, every time Ric and Lulu show up onscreen together, I kind of like them, too. I am delighted he’s going to take on her libel case.
A Helping Hand
While Ric is busy with Sonny, Monet Mitchell (the lovely Blythe Howard) is picking up cases around General Hospital. Or should I say one specific case — her sister’s partner Curtis.
Readers, does the ELQ jet not have WIFI? Couldn’t Curtis reach out to Jordan via Stella, Trina, or anyone else who has visited with him and ask, “Hey, what’s the deal with your sister?” or “Guess what? Your sister is my new attorney!” Curtis’ first instinct of, “If Jordan never told me about you there must be a reason,” was the right take. But he allowed Monet’s promises of a reduced sentence to wipe out his hesitation and dove in. I hope he doesn’t regret it.
I’m sure Monet has an agenda, but I am not sure what it is. Maybe just to blow up her estranged sister’s life or maybe to prove herself. We will have to wait and find out.
A Trip To Germany
Meanwhile, Jordan is on the ELQ jet with Michael and off to get pretty again. Which to be totally honest, Tanisha Harper is so gorgeous that those cheek scars can’t dim her beauty. But I bet the General Hospital makeup team is weary of putting those scars on Tanisha every day. There is a rumor that Michael and Jordan are being chem tested as a couple, and that would be fine, but I can’t see Jordan cheating on Curtis while he’s in the hospital or in prison. After their divorce, she barely even dated. She’s not a maneater kind of woman, and she doesn’t live to have a man. I can’t see her cheating unless say she walked in on Curtis and her sister having a fling or something.
A Little Deception
One thing I can say for sure is that I am not interested in Michael and Serena. That chem test was a dud in my opinion. Now it seems they are trying to foist Serena onto Jason instead, and Lucy is plotting to manipulate Jason into handing over his Deception voting rights to Serena. I hope to heaven he’s not dumb enough to fall for it. When he left the bar with Serena today, I thought, “Oh no, they are going to make him an idiot like Chase.” But then on next week’s previews Jason holds the paper up and asks Serena, “What is this really?” so I think he won’t fall for it, and she will confess that she was doing Lucy’s bidding and apologize.
Lucy is just the worst. Lucy is shamelessly pimping her only daughter out to anyone she can to get what she wants. She should have named her Fancy. I hate that Scott Baldwin is not on canvas to make Lucy behave.
The Britch is Back
Since Jason ended things with Britt, she’s gone a little dark and has decided to team up with her criminal cousin Willow and help her cover up her crimes. I’d much rather that Britt listened to Liesl about Willow. Liesl warned Nina that Willow would toss her to the wolves to cover up her crimes and Britt better watch out for the same thing. Willow is only loyal to Willow. Maybe it’s because Britt is low on friends and figures if she helps Willow, she can have one more person in her corner. Things went really bad for Britt at the General Hospital staff mixer during the Friday, October 16 episode. She nearly got run out of the bar.
Drew’s True Colors
Not to be outdone, Drew is also awful and again reminded me this week why I hate him. I read a SOD interview with the General Hospital writers explaining why they turned Drew into a villain, and the basic notion was that the Q family needed conflict, and Drew was the easiest character to fill that role. I don’t disagree with any of that, but I am hoping that at some point he remembers who he used to be and moves back towards his heroic side. But at present, he is still scheming away, threatening and intimidating women, like Lulu this week, when he told her if she touched her phone, he would crush it with his bare hands.
Charlotte got sent away so Drew wouldn’t find out about what she did breaking into his car, but we discovered that he already knows, so can Charlotte come home now? Ha. I do hope that the rift between Danny, Rocco and Scout is healed soon. The sweet scene with Dante and Jason talking over how to smooth things over with their sons was very enjoyable. I would love to see a developing friendship of these two wonderful single dads.
A Friend — Or Trouble — For Scout
Side note, when Sonny and Ava were bickering over Avery, Ava called Avery a teenager, so one can only assume that the next time we see Avery she is going to be aged up as well, just like Scout was. It would be amazing if they made Avery into a mini-Ava, a little trouble making diva.
A Sweet Reunion
Speaking of trouble making divas, Carly went to the pier bidding. While speaking to Ezra, who was concerned about the security at the Metro Court because he was worried about dangerous characters, Valentin swept in and said, “Speaking of dangerous characters…” That’s when he pulled Carly into his arms for a passionate kiss. Oh readers, I love those two together, although I wonder if I’ll get to keep them. With Carly urging Valentin to get into Anna’s therapy, I can’t help but wonder if that will be Carly and Valentin’s undoing.
Someone That I Used To Love
When you used to truly love someone with all your heart but then you forced yourself to let go, picking it up again and opening the door can let all those old feelings flood back in. Anna is going to need Valentin so much after Robert’s death is announced. Will Valentin be able to walk away?
When Carly is the only one who believes Sonny is innocent of ordering the attack on Sidwell, will he realize that she’s the only woman he can count on and pursue her again? I can’t even be mad because I actually love all of those couples. Anna and Valentin. Sonny and Carly. Carly and Valentin. They are all fun, romantic, soapy couples to watch.
But in truth I am rooting for Carly and Valentin because they have outgrown their pasts and I don’t want them to go backwards.
The Truth Is Out There
Like Chase. Chase is so dumb. Like so, so dumb. He was dumb about Nelle. He is being dumb about Willow. Again. Does anyone remember that Chase and Willow were married and she cheated on him with Michael while Chase thought he was dying? But now he can’t imagine her lying or keeping something from him. Ha.
When Lulu’s story came out about Willow drugging Drew, Chase never even considered for a moment that it might be true. He immediately went to the Q house to yell at Brook Lynn and Tracy for lying about sweet innocent Willow. Ugh.
You know who is sweet and innocent in Port Charles? Adorable Donna and precious Phoebe. That’s about it. Other kids have vanished. Wiley and Amelia, though often talked about haven’t been on screen for weeks.
What Will Happen Tomorrow, Dear Readers?
Will Joss break into her own mother’s hotel and disable the security system again? Will Trina sing Eddie Maine’s greatest hits? Is Fizz going to cry by the door looking for Gio? Will Jason’s skill set as a lifelong hitman qualify him for ELQ’s B-Suite?
Will the foxy Aussie stranger at the bar be a one-night stand or a full-blown romance for Britt? Is Tracy’s cold going to be just a cold, or will the storyline be a PSA for getting a flu shot? (Get one.) Will Drew and Ava ever have ‘we buried a body together’ sex, or will the ticks keep them apart?
Will Ned give Jason more control at ELQ so Ned can spend more time with Leo and Olivia, who have seemingly vanished from Port Charles? Is Willow ever going to get caught and have to pay for all of her crimes? Will Willow quake in her boots when she hears that Ric is representing Lulu, or will she just keep Willowing? Will anyone think to check at creepy Quinn’s apartment for Trina, or will she still be there at Christmas singing him carols to earn her supper?

So now Josslyn is part James Bond and part Spinelli. That scene at the MetroCourt was so silly. An “unhackable” security system is disabled by pulling a plug. All the wires were labelled. I wonder if that wire was labelled “pull this wire to disable security system”.
Josslyns’ black cat burgler outfit made her look so out of place. That’s what someone wears when they are breaking into a building under the cover of darkness. I would think that one would look a bit strange walking around a five star hotel in the middle of the afternoon in that outfit. I wonder if Josslyn realizes that she is is beoming quite corrupt.
If Sonny is out of the “business”, he needs to stop acting like he’s in the “business”. I think we know where this pier story is going. Josslyn gets in over her head and Sonny has to save her. But, I don’t want to see Josslyn saved. She’s so arrogant and full of herself that she needs to be taken down several notches. Let her swim with the sharks and suffer the consequences.
I’m in agreement with Tamilu, I really dislike these musical story lines. Everything seems so forced. As for Trina, I’m just tired of hearing these terrible songs and I’m rooting for the stalker to get the job done. I still think that Quinn is an odd choice to be her stalker.
I have one big problem with Trina being alone and having car trouble. Where is her boyfriend Kai? Wouldn’t a boyfriend or any friend walk a girl to her car late at night and wait until she drove safely away?
Is it just a coincidence that Isaiah and baby Des have the same haircut?
Willow vs. Lulu. This is the first time ever that I’m on Team Lulu.
There are some interesting stories on GH right now, but anything to do with Lucy Coe is not!! All these plans of hers to get Jason or Michael to just give away Decption stock or sign over voting rights are so dumb.

I don’t think Quinn is the stalker. He may have brought Trina to Kai, who has planned a special night for her. That bulletin board may be somewhere else entirely.
You bring up an interesting scenario. Where does Kai live anyway? I can’t recall ever seeing his apartment. We don’t even know if he has a home. Kai has been on the scene for a while now and we know nothing about his background.
I didn’t think about that. Could be that Quinn is a red herring after all.
Sorry for the length but I have a lot to say. I disagree with what Emma said. “When Emma said Joss has been “an entitled little bitch forever” she wasn’t wrong.” Well, one could say the same about Emma.
Emma grew up not wanting a thing. Both of her parents are doctors and her grandmother and grandfather, well-known rich super spies. Emma has lived with her grandma rent free ever since she came back to PC. Now she and Gio are getting an apartment together. How is she going to pay her half of the rent? She doesn’t have a job. Anna is paying for the deposit on the apartment and Emma didn’t even put up a fight about it. Who is going to buy the groceries, pay utilities, etc? Gio most likely or perhaps Emma’s granny will pay for them too.
Emma got kicked out of her first school and had to sign an NDA to keep from being arrested. Emma accused Joss of doing whatever she wanted. So does Emma. She thinks SHE can do whatever she wants if SHE believes it’s for a worthy cause. Emma doesn’t care much about what anyone thinks about it either.
Emma threw it in Joss’s face that she lied to everyone when she was in the WSB. And Grandma Anna and Grandpa Robert, didn’t? When Joss reminded Emma she ‘left’ the WSB because she was shot, Emma shrugged it off and asked, isn’t that what she signed up for? I bet Emma would NEVER have said something like that to her grandparents. All the times that they were shot, I guess Emma didn’t feel like, oh well, that’s what they signed up for.
Anything Anna does, even almost murdering Britt, is okay in Emma’s book, even to the point of attacking Anna’s victim for saying something sarcastic to Anna about it. Never mind the fact Britt could have had Emma’s granny arrested and sent to Ferncliff. A little compassion and gratitude toward Britt were in order there, not vicious scolding because Emma doesn’t like her. Someone needs to take that little privileged bitch down a peg or two also.
I like Emma despite all of this, but she is also entitled, hypocritical and judgmental. Joss was right about her too.
I agree with you on this. It’s not that Emma is entirely wrong about Josslyn, it’s just the pot calling the kettle black. They’re both terrible about selective morality, but at least Josslyn usually reacts to recent history. Emma reacts based on events that happened 10 years ago. I thought Ric’s approach was better. Not that he’s one to be lecturing people on how to treat Sonny, but his points were valid and he didn’t fly off the handle.
Incidentally, do you think Emma remembers she saw Sonny try to shoot Josslyn’s father when she was a child? In her own house no less. Her father never liked Sonny. So I’m not sure why she chose this issue to spar with Josslyn on. Except, again, she has predetermined which people she is going to fight with.
Totally agree here. I am not Team Joss (but I blame the writers for most of that) but i am also NOT Team Emma. She lays in to Joss every time she sees her. Just turn the other cheek girl! Or just walk away… She’s great with Gio and ger grandma, but they are making her a mean girl too.
Monet is supposed to be working for Diane and Alexis. I find it odd that she is going around Port Charles like an ambulance chaser looking for cases. I doubt that Diane and Alexis would grant a new hire the degree of laditude to just take any kind of case she likes without consulting them.

I find it quite curious that all these people who hate Sonny have memberships to Sonnys’ gym.
If the theory of Hudson being Jerry Jacks’ son is true, maybe the real threat to Delilah and her baby was who the baby’s father was related and connected to.
Totally agree here. I am not Team Joss (but I blame the writers for most of that) but i am also NOT Team Emma. She lays in to Joss every time she sees her. Just turn the other cheek girl! Or just walk away… She’s great with Gio and ger grandma, but they are making her a mean girl too.
