It’s a sudsy summer in Port Charles. Cullum set a deadly trap for Cassius – and Britt — just as Dante and Lulu caught up with Rocco. Meanwhile, Willow found herself at the center of the investigation into Jordan’s accident, and Anna is back in action. What will happen next is anyone’s guess, so let’s discuss all the exciting twists and turns in a very soapy General Hospital commentary for the week ending June 26, 2026.
What a wonderfully soapy week on General Hospital. Britt wasn’t kidding when she told Rocco that “this isn’t real life” and I’m so thankful for that. The real world is crazy enough without adding all the shenanigans of a soap opera to it. But all that exciting drama had me glued to every episode this week, and Monday can’t get here fast enough!
Willow’s Wicked Web
Two things can be true at the same time. The sun can be shining while it’s raining, a person can be drop-dead gorgeous and wildly insecure, and bad people can do good things. Willow falls into the latter category. She is a despicable human being who has used a newborn child to torment the parents, shot her rotten husband in the back twice, kept him drugged and locked inside his own body for months, and accused her ex-husband of her crimes. Those are just the highlights.
But Willow is apparently a far better congresswoman than Drew was a congressman. Does that atone for her sins? Absolutely not. I don’t care how many times our General Hospital scribes have beloved characters sing Willow’s praises as a congresswoman. I want that witch to pay for her sins. In fact, I think it’s fair to say that the majority of viewers feel the way that I do.
It’s time for Willow to pay the piper.
A Salacious Scandal
Brook Lynn threw her lot in with Lucy and together they came up with a plan to frame Willow for leaving the scene of Jordan’s accident. The idea being that the scandal alone would be enough to rip those Willow-tinted glasses off Chase’s smitten eyes and make him see Willow for who she truly is. With that in mind, Lucy went to the police station and told Detective Joe Fitzpatrick that she had good reason to believe that Willow was the mystery driver everyone was looking for. Brook Lynn made sure that good old Brick tampered with Willow’s car data to show that Willow had been on the same road as Jordan and Curtis that fateful night.
Unbeknownst to both Brook Lynn and Lucy, Drew gave them a little assist when Joe got a chance to sneak in some yes and no questions to Drew.
In A Blink, Drew Made His Move
Drew happily tossed Willow under the bus then hopped into the driver’s seat and backed over the little viper with just a blink of his eyes. I don’t like Drew any more than I do Willow, but I quite enjoyed that move. Is Drew a changed man? Time will tell, but for now Drew and I are on the same page about Willow.
My hope is that this whole experience has given Drew plenty of time to reflect on the error of his ways. At least when it comes to all the good people in his life — all of whom he’s treated horribly, including Scout. Yes, he lied to the intrepid detective when he condemned Willow with a blink, but what choice did Drew really have? Drew is completely at Willow’s mercy and that woman has tried to kill him twice. Let’s be real, there were no guarantees that Drew would have survived the first injection that triggered a massive stroke, so she doesn’t get a pass on that just because he didn’t die.
If Willow doesn’t see another out, she won’t hesitate to make sure the third attempt is the charm. However, Jack is a wild card. Does he have the goods on Drew or was that a bluff to get Willow to back off from injecting Jack with the same serum that she uses to keep Drew a prisoner in his own body? I pray that Jack was lying. He might be sweet on Nina, but I do not, under any circumstances, want him to help Willow escape justice.
Chase To The Rescue
Alas, it appears that Brook Lynn’s scheme is about to backfire. Rather than see Willow for who she is, Chase is getting sucked deeper into the role of her champion. He couldn’t get to the police station fast enough to rescue his damsel in perpetual distress. Once again, Chase butted heads with Justine when he arrogantly marched into the interrogation room and demanded to talk to Willow.
Justine is gunning for Chase, and I for one can’t wait until she takes that shot. Our General Hospital writers have done a fantastic job of setting Chase up for a great big fall. Unfortunately, it looks like Brook Lynn is going to get knocked down too, and I’m not referring to her doomed marriage.
Bad Company
If you’ve been watching General Hospital as long as I have, you know just how bad Lucy can be. There’s an expression, “When you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” Lucy isn’t just flea-ridden, she’s got ticks too.
Was I surprised by Lucy’s demand for Brook Lynn’s Deception shares in exchange for going to the police and making a false statement against Willow? No. Not at all. I knew Lucy would find a way to use the situation to her advantage. There’s a reason that Lucy has no friends. She’s a terrible person who only cares about herself. If Brook Lynn were smart, she’d tell Lucy to go ahead and do her worst. All Brook Lynn has to do is deny Lucy’s crazy claims.
It’s not like Brick is going to come clean to tampering with evidence. At worst, it would be Lucy’s word against Brook Lynn’s. Lucy is a known liar. Brook Lynn would have no problem convincing people that Lucy is just trying to exploit the situation to get her greedy mitts on Brook Lynn’s shares of Deception.
Dear General Hospital
You don’t have to be a fly on Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten’s walls to know that Chase and Willow will end up in bed together. We can all see where this is headed. But I would love nothing more than for Brook Lynn to come out on top. Her marriage is already doomed if she has to go through all of this to keep Chase from straying. Let Brook Lynn wash her hands of her fickle husband and go on to live her best life raising Phoebe alone.
There are plenty of crimes in Port Charles that have gone unsolved. Jagger’s murder, Kristina’s little crime spree after baby Irene died, Sonny and Jason’s decades long crime wave, and Cyrus’ murder spring immediately to mind. There’s no reason that anyone else has to learn Brook Lynn was the other driver on the road. Jordan was at fault, and Brook Lynn genuinely had no idea there had been a crash.
I’m okay if Willow goes down for the accident. Let her. I just don’t want Brook Lynn to lose both her marriage and her freedom. She’s not the adulteress. And yes, I consider Chase an adulterer. He’s been emotionally cheating on Brook Lynn for months and lying to himself about his feelings for Willow.
Lucy Deserves Some Karma Too
I’d also love to see Lucy get own just desserts. She needs to lose Deception. Hostile takeover (come one Michael, make your move!), bankruptcy, or the government stepping in and seizing everything because of Sidwell’s involvement. I don’t care which, as long as Lucy gets nothing.
Brook Lynn and Tracy are rich enough to not feel the hit. They can start a new company with Maxie.
Rocco On The Run
Now, let’s talk about Rocco. Cassius told Dante and Lulu where to find their son. Did they dash off to rescue him? Nope. Cassius had to spend nearly an entire episode begging Dante and Lulu not to take down Britt once they caught up with their son. Cassius warned them that it was more important to get their son and leave because Cullum was closing in. Dante and Lulu didn’t care. In the end, they betrayed their son for the fleeting satisfaction of punishing Britt. Good job! Way to show Rocco that he can trust his parents.
Confronting Britt
Look, I hate how Britt seems to think that she has any kind of maternal claim on Rocco. She was his kidnapper. She stole him from his parents and kept him away from them for the first year of his life. She denied an innocent babe an opportunity to properly bond with his mom and dad. But Rocco clearly cares about Britt. The poor boy was positively tortured at the idea of leaving Britt behind to face an uncertain future.
How Dante and Lulu could look their son in the eye, knowing the police were outside waiting to arrest Britt, is beyond me. I hated what Dante and Lulu did to Rocco, but I do admit that it just might have saved Britt’s life. Before she could inject herself with that poisoned serum that Cassius had unknowingly sent her, the police stormed in. The downside: Cullum will likely send the WSB to pick her up.
Is This The Real Life?
Britt warned Rocco that “this isn’t real life.” Hilarious. No, it’s not because in real life Britt would have found a way to test that serum long ago. Before she returned to Port Charles. At one point, she even had vials of it in her room above Bobbie’s. All it would have taken was a drop or two. In real life, Britt would have questioned why she’d gone symptom free for so long between doses, and why all of her symptoms were mild.
Yes, Britt fainted, but people faint for all kinds of reasons. Britt has been under tremendous stress and likely not taking care of herself. She might simply have been dehydrated or had low on sugar. She’s a doctor and should know this.
Back In Port Charles
Trouble brewed at Crimson when Cullum sent a goon to collect Charlotte. Luckily for Charlotte, Danny sensed something was off with the guy when they passed each other at the elevator. Danny managed to knock the guy out before he could obscond with Charlotte, but now Danny and Charlotte are on the run.
Will the teens be smart enough to go to Sonny or Carly? I hope so because they are no match for Cullum and his rogue agents. Also, I don’t want Charlotte and Danny to have an opportunity to spend extended time alone together. Teenage kissing cousins (even twice or thrice removed) are not my thing.
General Hospital‘s Spy Games
In France, Anna is back with a cute bob and a clearer mind. She’s still fragile, but lucid. Her doctor allowed Emma, Felicia, and Mac to visit, but they were all careful not to say anything that might set Anna off. As Friday drew to a close, Anna warned Felicia that Nathan was not who he seemed. Will Felicia believe Anna or just brush it off as Anna’s paranoia?
I want to believe that Felicia already senses that something is off with Nathan, and that she takes Anna’s warning to heart. Time for the truth to come out. Jason is slated to return from his hiatus in July, Sidwell is hiding out at Casa Cain, and Cullum is oozing evil wherever he goes. Even Josslyn and Cassius are coming up with a plan of action.
All the players are being moved into place. Big things are about to happen on General Hospital.
War of the Ashfords
I’ve never been a big fan of Curtis (I’m still Team Taggert), but why did the writers have to ruin Isaiah too? Isaiah was such a nice guy when he arrived at General Hospital. Now, he’s almost as bad as Curtis.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t begrudge Isaiah defending himself against the false allegations made by Curtis, but the worm turned for me long ago with Dr. Gannon. As soon as Isaiah became sweet on Portia his critical thinking skills flew out the window, especially when it came to Jordan.
Isaiah and Jordan
Before Isaiah and Portia, there was Isaiah and Jordan. Their fling was brief, but real. They didn’t end because they’d grown apart. Jordan ended things with Isaiah because she was trying to take down Sidwell from the inside, and she didn’t want to risk endangering anyone close to her. Isaiah knew Jordan, yet he willingly believed the lies that Portia spun about Jordan trying to break up her marriage. I lost a lot of respect for Isaiah because of that. I eventually realized that he believed the worst of both Jordan and Curtis because it made him feel better about falling for a married woman.
No Happily-Ever-After (Especially On General Hospital)
I know Curtis isn’t innocent. He might not have been messing around with Jordan, but he had definitely checked out of his marriage long before Portia’s lies caught up with her. To be honest, I never saw Portia and Curtis lasting. They got together because of Trina. Both Portia and Curtis wanted to give their daughter the family they wished they could have if Portia and Curtis had raised Trina together.
Trina was the glue that held Portia and Curtis together. Even though Trina eventually grew up, moved out, spread her wings, and started a life of her own, Portia and Curtis kept the home fires burning. But they were living as a family for Trina not for each other. It’s why their marriage began to crumble.
Trina Takes A Stand
I was proud of Trina for finally recognizing that she had gotten way too invested in her parents’ personal lives. But my happiness quickly turned to disappointment when she seemed to make Portia and Curtis responsible for breaking her unhealthy pattern by ordering them to keep their distance. Distance doesn’t solve the problem. The problem is that Trina tries to fix her parents’ relationship instead of letting them sort things out for themselves.
Trina needs to learn to butt out and instead focus on her relationship with each of her parents.
Glossing Over The Past
It also really irked me how Trina glossed over Kai’s betrayal when she listed all the ways that her loyalty to family had negatively impacted her life. Excuse me? Trina, you shared a secret with Kai about your mother, and he in turn broke your trust by selling out your mother out to Drew. That is all on Kai and only Kai. Just because you forgave him doesn’t make it any less of a betrayal. It certainly isn’t something that you can lay at your parents’ feet.
Port Charles Potpourri

Anna can’t be trusted with a cup of hot tea, but they let her have a crochet needle? Um, okay.
WSB: Wyndemere
I have no problem suspending disbelief, but it’s getting a little ridiculous that no one is questioning why Cullum has taken up residence in a castle that is privately owned by someone who is currently wanted by every federal agency. A home that is notorious for catacombs and underground labs.
A Cassadine should be residing on Spoon Island!! Release Valentin and Nikolas from jail and bring Spencer back from the dead. What fun it would be to have a castle full of Cassadines this Christmas. Heck, I’d love to see the Bacchanalia Ball return!
Book It!
I love how soap characters are always ready to jet off to Europe – or some other distant part of the world – with just a moment’s notice. I really need to renew my passport!
Splish-Splash, General Hospital’s Summer Set is back
The Metro Court pool has returned – and so have the dirty bare feet. I don’t know who is in charge of cleaning the floors on set, but please do a better job of wiping down them down because some of those tootsies are downright filthy. No one wants to see that.
Charlotte Drops Truth Bombs
That scene between Charlotte and Nina at Crimson was everything! I loved how Charlotte called Nina out for always putting Willow first, even at the cost of Charlotte — a teenager that Nina claimed to love like a daughter. Good for Charlotte. When Willow’s crimes catch up with her, Nina is going to have to take a long hard look in that prison mirror she shares with her daughter because she failed Willow every step of the way starting with not being honest with Willow about sleeping with Drew.
Willow didn’t need a partner-in-crime. She needed a mother to step in and save Willow from herself.

I don’t like Lucy either, but in all fairness, Lucy does have friends. Felicia and Mac are her friends. With that said, I agree with everything else you said about Lucy. While I can understand her wanting deception back, Tracy taking it from her was karma for how she has repeatedly used her ELQ share for her own selfish motives over the years. It would be perfect if Michael did a hostile takeover of deception given that Lucy has taken ELQ away from him twice. I miss the old Lucy. She’s always been ditzy, but she used to be much more likable.
Felcia and Mac are kind people who are friendly to Lucy. But, do they trust her? No. No one in their right mind would. I dread how the past will be rewritten with Serena when she comes to PC.
While I don’t care about ELQ or who is in charge of it, I do think it was ridiculous Lucy had any say in that matter. And for years after she was married to Alan who she only went after for his money. Glad that’s over.
As for Nina, it’s nice to see charlotte keep her foot on Nina’s neck. Nina is a spoiled brat who is used to having to do nothing to earn forgiveness for her actions, so it’s nice to see someone holding her accountable.
You could tell that everything Charlotte said hit a nerve with Nina. It was so nice to see. I’m so tired of Nina playing the “I will do anything to protect my daughter” card. In truth, Nina is pathetic. She’s desperate for any scrap of attention from Willow because all she wants to be is a mom. She doesn’t care at what cost that comes.
I don’t know how much more that I can take of Chase, ” Congresswoman” Cain, every single Ashford and Lucy Coe. Please make it stop. Somehow, this unelected freshman congresswoman performs legislative miracles without ever having to set foot in Washington D.C.
Trina wants to focus on her music. What music? She sang one stinking song and it kind of sucked.
The Jordan and Curtis accident story has been one of the dumbest stories ever, which is bad enough, but it has spawned an even dumber story of Brooklyn trying to frame Willow of being the “other” driver. Chase wouldn’t believe it even if he saw Willow behind the wheel.
Our new detective, Joe, wants to know if Willow has an “alibi” for the night of Jordans’ accident. Yo detective! No one needs an alibi because the only ones’ guilty of anything are Jordan and Curtis! Then he questions Drew.
How could Drew know if Willow was involved in Jordans’ accident? He’s stuck in a wheel chair and hardly leaves his room. Detective Joe should know that. Does he think that Drew is following her around in his wheel chair?
How is Sidwell getting around Port Charles? He’s at the Metro Court, which has cameras every where but Carlys’ office.
Then he’s at Drews’ house which supposedly has staff and caretakers coming and going.No one sees him? I guess he
got tips from Ryan Chamberlain.
Danny is super hyper and not too bright. This kid needs to be on medication to calm him down.
The Jordan accident story is one of those where I’m curious how the writers thought the audience would react. From what I’ve read, the universal reaction is that it was entirely Jordan’s and Curtis’s fault. Did the writers think people would blame the other driver?
Also curious about the law as it relates to this matter. Are you required to stop if you didn’t cause an accident and didn’t hit anyone? While common decency would seem to require it, that’s not the same as breaking the law if you keep going. In this instance, it doesn’t even seem like any of the “suspects” were aware of the severity of the accident either.
It’s going to be painful to see the blowback when Brooklyn gets caught for framing Willow though. Especially with Willow being a much, much worse person that Brooklyn. I’m pretty much past caring if Brooklyn and Chase are going to break up, but I want it to be entirely Chase’s fault. I don’t want to have to see Brooklyn beating herself up for pushing him into Willow’s arms. When we all know it will just be an excuse.
How could the viewers take the side of someone so pompous and self righteous as Curtis? The cars were going in opposite directions so how would the driver of the car that avoided the accident know what happened to the other car? If you were trying to avoid another car, I don’t think that you would be looking in the rear view mirror. If I side swiped a guard rail, I’d stop to look at the damage to my car. If I saw the other car at that point, I’d call the police and make sure that they were charged with reckless driving.
I was a bit surprised when Anna told Felicia that “Nathan” was not Nathan. Anna was kidnapped not long after Nathan’s reappearance and she was the one who put him back on the force. I can’t recall her ever having suspicions of him so I wonder how this came about.
I do recall even after letting “Nathan” onto the force, Anna did have some suspicions about him and Britt being back. I believe it was part of a reason she was kidnapped because she was trying to look into it. My guess is she’s had all this time to think about the situation which is why she realizes that something is off with “Nathan”, but I don’t think she knows yet that it’s not actually him.
I just want to say that my favorite character right now is new detective Joe and his facial expressions. Since he’s arrived, every time he interacts with a character the look on his face is that of someone (like maybe a real detective) who has suddenly found himself dropped into soapland and has no idea how he got there. From the moment he told Dante he thought that maybe he wasn’t a good fit for the job (because, um, the head of the department was a mob boss’s son?), he keeps being interrupted by/having to interact with characters with these “bizarre” soapy expectations … and he lets them speak with this “What am I doing here with these crazy people?” tolerant look on his face. I know that will eventually change, but for now it is just hilarious. It’s like the Truman Show.

The way Dante and Lulu judge people and bicker amongst themselves (gee, sounds familiar, doesn’t it?), and there was Britt, who, to her credit, did try to push Rocco away at first. But when she saw how he was hurting and how he needed a connection, Britt was there for him.
Okay, Britta’s done a lot of Pretty Awful things in her life, but now she’s obviously trying to Make Amends in her own way.
I don’t know.
Dante and ShrewLu, when they get together, give me Agita.
Sidwell is Comedy Genius.
I mean, he’s Evil and all, but he’s also Delightfully Witty.
I loved watching him torture Drew.
I think Jenz and Frau Blücher would make a Great Villainous Comedy Team.

I’m so done with Curtis’s high and mighty attitude. He should be in jail for assault. I wish Isaiah would sue him for damages, he would lose his business and leave town to start over. But the only problem with that is it would require more “Curtis air time”, and I don’t want that.
Were you on Route 91 April 8?? Geez, I took the same highway to the office for twenty years and there was an accident almost every day. On GH I’d be a suspect!
I wouldn’t use the word murder to describe Cyrus’s killing. It was self-defense even if Josslyn may have wanted him dead for other reasons.
I also wouldn’t lump it in with other crimes that came without consequences. I suppose it didn’t come with any, but none were warranted. Only going through the formalities of closing the case and deeming it self defense. It is another black mark on GH law enforcement that that mystery remains unsolved on the PCPD, FBI, etc. end. But I don’t care about that too much since we all know what happened. Not like Austin what’s-his-name’s murder which is an open mystery.
That’s right, we never did find out who murdered Austin. It Ava even received some photos related to it, which caused Sonny to have her move into his penthouse for protection, but no one found out who sent the photos or killed Austin. I think they (Sonny and Ava) assumed it was Cyrus, but it was never proven.
Could Lulu and Dante just stop arguing and venting their anger about what Britt did 16 years ago? Their scenes are so repetitive and they seem oblivious that their need to tell Britt (and Nathan) how awful she is do nothing to help anyone now. They are stuck in an anger loop that is boring and tedious to watch over and over.
I love Brook Lynn, but her plan was dumb. Chase already went to bat for Willow when it came to Drew’s shooting because he refused to believe that she was guilty. Why would she think that he wouldn’t do the same for another crime she’s being accused of? The saddest part is, I feel like her relationship with Chase will end because he leaves her as a result of finding out that she set up Willow, or that she was the one who left the scene of Jordan’s accident and didn’t tell him about it. Chase may end up sleeping with Willow, but I have a feeling it will be after him and Brook Lynn separate, not while they are together.
I also thought it was interesting that the clinic didn’t see Anna having crochet needles as a safety issue.
As for that social media comment post stating that BLQ originally stole the Deception shares from Lucy, that’s not true. Tracy, got those shares in the settlement from the lawsuit against Deception that involved Martin’s ex-wife. Tracy, in turn gave some of those shares to Brook Lynn because she wanted her to have an executive role in Deception, as she felt it was more stable than a career in the music industry.
Chase might forgive Brooklyn for the accident she didn’t cause, but he’s not going to tolerate her framing Willow for it. Seems safe to assume that marriage is dead. The current GH writers are not into maintaining long term romantic relationships so that tracks.
Probably doesn’t bode well for Chase or Brooklyn individually either since there aren’t a lot of other characters they can be paired with. Chase and Willow are not obviously going to work out. Chase has no family on the canvas (without Brooklyn), and he stinks at his job. Seems unfair to write the character into a corner then write him off–especially since the show is determined to keep Drew who everyone hates–but it wouldn’t be the first time.
At first I thought maybe they were thinking of pairing Ethan and Brooklyn with Phoebe being the connection. But if Ethan is going to lie about being her father, that’s not a good start. Then there’s throwing Ava in Ethan’s path for no reason and the fact that a Spencer with a tendency towards wanderlust doesn’t seem like a good partner for Brooklyn at this point in her life, and I doubt that is where this is going. So I don’t know what they’re going to do with Brooklyn post Chase either.
Chases’ jealousy and anger towards Michael is quite ironic. Afterall, it was Chases’ idea to make believe that he and Sasha were cheating on Michael and Willow in order to push Michael and Willow together in the first place.
