Alexa Havins brought Lulu home to Port Charles, but did the writers ruin things by moving a little too quickly with this storyline? Meanwhile, Anna is on a mission to find Charlotte by any means necessary. Is Anna trying to do the right thing or right her own wrong? Letโs delve into a new General Hospital commentary for the week ending December 6, 2024.
Lulu on the loose (but not at General Hospital)
Itโs a miracle! No, really it is. Not only is Lulu awake, but she hit the ground running. Literally.
After overhearing Cyrus claiming to be her uncle and making plans to have her transferred to another facility, Lulu decided to skedaddle. She jumped out of bed, pulled the fire alarm, and made a hasty escape. Good thing everything she needed — shoes, a pair of slacks and hoodie — was conveniently located at the front desk. Double bonus that everything fit her like a glove. If not, poor Lulu would have been thumbing her way to Port Charles with her hospital gown flapping in the wind.
I love a good soapy moment as much as the next person. Itโs why Iโve been a dedicated General Hospital viewer since the beginning of time. However, thereโs a fine line between dramatic liberty and the absurd. Luluโs flight from Turning Woods was definitely the latter. The idea that Lulu would be able to walk out of her room let alone down a dark stretch of road and hitchhike is laughable.
Sadly, the excitement of Luluโs little adventure back to the land of the living was dimmed by the ridiculousness of it all.
You donโt need a medical degree to know that no one wakes up from a four-year coma and walks unassisted out of the facility a few days later. Itโs a process that can take months. My sister was in an extended coma following a car accident back when we were teens. It took days for her to fully wake up and three months of daily physical therapy for her to be able to walk. Her arms and legs were like limp spaghetti noodles, and she was weak as a kitten.
Lulu waking up — sans a feeding tube — and walking within a couple of days was silly. The writers did such a disservice to Luluโs comeback story by rushing this. I expect more from scribes who write for a soap opera called General Hospital.
Also, will someone please remember that Lulu is a recent liver transplant recipient who requires timed anti-rejection medication several times a day? Lulu arguing about not going to General Hospital to be checked out was dangerous and made everyone look reckless. If nothing else, Lulu needs a refill of her many medications.

How do you do, Lulu?
Despite my gripes with the plot, I really enjoyed Alexa Havens as Lulu. She reminds me a lot of Julie Marie Berman who played Lulu throughout Luluโs teens and early adulthood. It makes it easier to see Alexa as Lulu, and it adds an air of nostalgia to these emotional reunions. Several have packed quite a powerful punch.
After encountering James at her old house, Lulu quickly made her way to the Quartermaine estate where she reunited with Rocco. Of all the reunions, that was the one I had most wanted to see because Rocco had been struggling. Heโd forgotten the sound of his motherโs voice, and he feared that he would lose more memories of Lulu as time marched on. As a mother, I hate seeing a kid in pain. Even when that kid is on a soap opera.
It was so bittersweet to see Danny hovering in the hallway as Rocco’s prayers were answered.
The reunion was everything that I could have hoped for and more. I was misty-eyed, but they were tears of joy. Alexa did a marvelous job of conveying both Luluโs elation at seeing her son and Luluโs shock at realizing that Rocco had aged years since sheโd last seen him.
How do you even begin to wrap your mind around losing four years of her life in an instant and learning that your father, nephew, and aunt all died, and your brother is in prison? I was an absolute mess for weeks when my dad passed. I couldnโt imagine losing several loved ones in essentially one fell swoop.
Reunions upon reunions
Equally touching was Luluโs reunion with Dante and Lucky. I just wish Dante had been the one to tell Lulu about Sam because it would have meant more coming from the man who had loved Sam. I was pleasantly surprised though during Lucky and Luluโs conversation. It was the first time that I actually liked Lucky since his return.
Luluโs reunion with Laura came in a close second to her reunion with Rocco. It pulled at the heartstrings and had me reaching for my tissues. It was so beautifully written, and both Genie Francis and Alexa have a wonderful mother-daughter chemistry. I felt their bond instantly. Genieโs performance was flawless from the second she entered that apartment and saw her daughter.
I quickly got over my annoyance that Laura had wasted time confronting Cyrus rather than searching for her daughter. Iโm a mama bear to the core. I donโt care if the world was on fire, nothing would stop me from searching for my kiddos if they were missing.

Cyrus is cuckoo
Cyrusโ recent actions made it abundantly clear that he is definitely up to no good. He lied to the Turning Woods director about his role in the family, and his plot to have Lulu moved to a facility in Georgia without Lauraโs knowledge was super shady. I hope someone confronts Cyrus about his illicit plans soon because he has some explaining to do.
Almost from the beginning, Iโve suspected Cyrus of having turned off Luluโs ventilator. I theorized that Cyrus saw himself as some kind of Angel of Death intent on putting Lulu out of her misery and giving Laura closure. My theory shifted when Sam died because there is no way that lethal dosage of Digitalis was a careless mistake. Sam might not have been the intended victim, but that deadly syringe was meant to kill someone. Perhaps Lulu? Cyrusโ shifty behavior reeks of sinister intentions.
Does Lulu know something about Cyrus that he doesnโt want anyone else to know? Something heโs willing to murder his own family for.
Annaโs hypocrisy is poo-poo
Anna is the police commissioner, but she only follows the law when itโs convenient. When itโs not, sheโs asking private citizens — like Carly — to do illegal things like plant a bug in the WSB Station Chiefโs office. Jason called Anna out on her dangerous request, but she showed little remorse. Anna was pleased as punch that Carly had succeeded in the endeavor.
Mind you, none of this would have been necessary if Anna hadnโt let Valentin escape justice in the first place. She felt she owed it Charlotte for shooting the teen who had broken into Annaโs apartment. (I talk about the blame game in the next section of this General Hospital commentary!)
This whole mess is of Annaโs own making, and she definitely broke some laws doing it.
Is the PCPD really a police department?
I donโt understand why Anna canโt use the law to her advantage. As the police commissioner, she should be able to secure a warrant to eavesdrop on Brennanโs calls if she believes he helped Valentin disappear. Why would she put Carly in the middle of this nonsense? Also, why is this Jasonโs problem? Itโs annoying how Anna keeps pulling Jason into her problems. What happened to Anna refusing to be friends with Jason as long as he remained Sonnyโs enforcer?
Does the Port Charles Police Department not have any cyber experts and detectives? Whatโs the point of being a police commissioner if you arenโt even going to use the tools at your disposal to enforce the law and solve crimes? Of course, Anna had good reason to not involve the police. She is hoping to keep her own criminal behavior buried.
That’s what happens when you have rules for thee but not for me.
The writers are doing such an injustice to Anna. Sheโs worse than Sonny. He is upfront about who he is, while Anna hides behind the mantle of respectability.
The blame game on General Hospital
One thing that soap characters love to do is make everything about themselves. When a tragedy strikes, inevitably, thereโs at least one character ready to take the blame.
Anna was justified in shooting Charlotte. It was tragic, and Iโm glad that Charlotte didnโt die, but Charlotte had been playing a dangerous game. I never understood why Charlotte would so easily believe Victor Cassadine’s poisoned pen letter instead of going to Valentin and asking him about his evil father. I thought Charlotte and Valentin were closer than that.
Recently, both Dante and Rocco insisted that Sam wouldnโt have died if it hadnโt been for them. They believed that Sam had only agreed to donate her liver because of them. Itโs not true. Sam was motivated to get tested because she loved both Dante and Rocco, but she donated her liver lobe because she wanted to help Lulu. Terry had made a point of discussing that with Sam. Sam herself had been in Dante and Roccoโs shoes when Danny was a baby and in need of a life-saving bone marrow donation from Julian. For Sam, she was paying that gift of life foward.
The blame game works the other way too. There are no shortages of adversarial relationships on General Hospital. Whenever something awful occurs — and it can be construed as intentional — soap characters are quick to point fingers at their enemies. Such is the case with Kristina and Ava.
You shrew, it was you!
This week, Ric achieved what he had set out to do; he convinced his daughter that Kristinaโs fall out the window and Ireneโs subsequent death was all a terrible tragedy. No one was to blame. But Kristina — not Ava — was the aggressor. T.J. is livid. His relationship with Molly fell apart, the verdict wasnโt what he wanted, and he resents Kristina. T.J. never trusted Kristina to be a good surrogate because sheโs mercurial, easily triggered, and destructive. Sheโs also incredibly selfish.
I found Kristina’s conversation with Natalia incredibly confusing. Kristina said something to the effect that she needed to hear the truth about the car accident from Natalia — not the lies that Natalia told on the stand — because it would confirm that Kristina correctly remembered the encounter with Ava. That makes no sense. The viewers have seen several of Kristinaโs flashbacks of the fall and each time itโs crystal clear that Ava did not push Kristina.
Is Kristina intentionally lying about Ava pushing her or is Kristina refusing to believe her own memories because they donโt fit the narrative that absolves her of any wrongdoing?
Not guilty โ and public enemy number one too
Ava was elated with her victory, but Sonny and Kristina were not satisfied with the verdict. Kristina was stunned as she sat in shocked silence. She couldn’t understand how twelve jurors didn’t believe her lies/delusion. Sonny had assured his daughter that he would be there for her if the worst should happen. Unfortunately for Sonny, the worst did happen, and Kristina is going to want to collect on that promise. How far is Sonny willing to go to feed Kristina’s thirst for revenge?
Sonny, Kristina, and Alexis are always quick to accuse Ava of weaponizing Sonnyโs โchildโ against him because Scott had called Kristina to testify. Kristina is a 30-something adult who had witnessed Sonny violently attack Dex. It sucks that Kristina was in that position, but it was fair game in a custody fight. Yet, Sonny, Kristina, nor Alexis batted an eyelash when Sonny tried to punish Ava by refusing to let her have a visit with Avery. Last time I checked, Avery was an actual child who loves her mother very much. I guess it’s okay when Sonny weaponizes a child.

The breakup blues
Sadly, T.J. and Molly couldnโt overcome the loss of Irene. T.J. is hurting, but he still wants a family. Molly isnโt there. Sheโs determined to spare herself more heartache by letting go of her dreams of having a family. Itโs sad to see.
I know that T.J.โs heart is in the right place, but I suspect he hopes to heal himself by fixing Molly. Unfortunately, T.J. expects Molly to grieve in the same way that he is, but her pain is different. She not only lost two children, but she also lost her ability to have biological children. Itโs easier for T.J. to see his future with children because his fertility hasnโt been impacted.
It breaks my heart that T.J. and Molly separated because they were such a great example of a healthy and loving couple. That was until Kristina put herself in the middle of their relationship.
Iโm sorry, but I blame Kristina for all of this. She lives in chaos and thrives on misery. It was never about helping Molly and T.J. become parents. It was all about making Kristina feel better about herself. Kristina needs constant affirmation because she feels like a failure compared to all the overachievers around her. She latched onto the idea of being Mollyโs surrogate because it made her feel important. Itโs why she took it so personally when Molly initially rejected the idea.
When Molly didnโt fall to her knees and include Kristina in every aspect of the baby planning, Kristina felt rejected. Kristina resented that she was not the center of attention as the surrogate. Even while Kristina was secretly plotting to keep the baby, she was always quick to remind everyone that she was being selfless by helping her sister become a mother. She even did it on the witness stand.
Lies. All lies.
Kristina was never the hero in this story.
Cue Kristinaโs revenge
The problem with Kristina is that she has zero coping skills. Sonny and Alexis coddled her to the point that she cannot handle it when things donโt go her way. Whenever sheโs on the losing end of something, she digs in, lashes out and leaves it to others to clean up her mess.
Iโve long concluded that the reason Alexis handles Kristina with kid gloves is because Alexis fears Kristinaโs volatile temper. She doesnโt favor and cater to Kristina out of love, but rather because itโs easier to manage Kristina that way. Perhaps Alexis sees shades of Sonny in Kristina. I do.
By contrast, Molly matured at a very young age, and she learned to be self-reliant. Molly has been conditioned to bury her feelings and move on because she’s always taken a backseat to Kristina.
I know Kristina is hurting, but what she said to Molly was cruel. I think it was easy for Kristina to go there because Kristina never saw Molly as Ireneโs mother.
No Quartermaine Thanksgiving pizza for me and you. Boo!
What the heck writers? Whereโs our Quartermaine Thanksgiving episode?! A pox on you for cheating us out of our annual pizza dinner hijinks.
I think thatโs why Iโm so salty this week. I missed seeing the zaniness of a Quartermaine Thanksgiving. No Sasha burning the turkey and announcing sheโs pregnant with the next Q heir; no not-so-shocking revelation that Drew is sleeping with is his niece-in-law; no Ned and Michael uniting to take down sleazy Drew; no Jason announcing that he — the favorite son — has Monicaโs blessing to move back in; no Brook Lynn Quartermaine revealing that Gio is Danteโs long-lost secret son; no Lulu showing up dancing the jig in middle of the mayhem. So many missed opportunities.
Instead, we got Carly mediating Drew and Jasonโs spat and reminding them that Sam would want them both to put their children first. I like Carly, but she doesnโt have to be part of everything. For instance, I would have preferred that Danny and Jason had their father-son moment alone.
General Hospital Quick Takes:
Did anyone else notice the soot in Lulu’s hair during the flashback of the night of the explosion? It looked professionally and evenly applied. I never saw someone look so good with soot in their hair.
Cody must have bad eyesight. He saw Lulu when he visited Dante in her hospital room not too long ago.
Is there a history rewrite in the works? I donโt recall Cody knowing Brook Lynn prior to arriving in Port Charles. However, during Wednesdayโs episode Cody mentioned that Brook Lynn had attended camp with Dante and Cody.
Can someone please get rid of the hideous jungle wallpaper in Annaโs apartment? Itโs not at all her style.
I love hearing from readers, so please be sure comment below. Happy viewing,
Liz Masters

In my humble opinion, as they say, I think at the back of her mind Alexis isn’t only worried that Kristina has alot of Sonny in her, but the Cassadine wickedness as well. Honestly, that young woman needs a boatload of therapy!
Am I alone in waiting for the moment that Carly finds out about Drew and Willow? I hope like hell that she goes ballistic as only Carly can. My son (who doesn’t watch GH) and I were chuckling today during Carly mediating the ‘Quartergan’ brothers. If she knew what Jason knows… *BOOM*
And, OH HAPPY DAYS!! Lois has her proper accent back!
Glad I found you, Liz!
Yay! Welcome!!
We are building a great little community here. A safe haven away from the ugliness of social media where we can discuss stuff, debate, and still be respectful and kind to each other.
Carly will go scorched earth on the both of them! LOL
Iโm curious what you thought about Jordanโs advice to Curtis about double crossing both drew and Michael. I didnโt like it. I canโt stand drew, so I donโt have a problem with him losing aurora, but I think that Michael is sincere in giving Curtis the ceo job. I know chad is leaving, so I want Michael to leave with a big win instead of leaving with no wife and no job.
I hope Curtis sides with Michael because I agree that Michael’s offer to Curtis is sincere. Michael only plans to take Drew down. He doesn’t need Aurora Media, so Curtis can have it.
OMG. I love that you responded to me. I do agree with people who say that Michael is using Curtis, but as long as heโs honest about it and follows through on giving Curtis the job, then whatโs the problem?
I don’t have much sympathy for Curtis. He was a PI for the world’s worst P.I. agency, a bar owner for a very short time and Drew puts him in charge of the new “wellness” division because Curtis obviously works out and
now Curtis thinks he deserves to be CEO for all his hard work. Curtis has worked at Aurora for about ten minutes. In the real world, Curtis might be qualified to head the mail room.
Gio is not BLQ son it wasnโt confirmed rumors again all of this plain fat lies
The column doesn’t way that he is BLQ’s son. Liz wrote that there was no Quartermaine Thanksgiving this year, and said that BLQ didn’t reveal that Gio was Dante’s long-lost son as an example of what drama could have unfolded.
Thank you, Internet-father-of-my-children! <3
The writing is so blatantly sketchy. With all the characters they’re killing off and now supposedly another Quartermaine loss when we know Chad Duell is leaving, I honestly believe they are trying to kill off this soap. The storylines are out of left field and there are fewer and fewer sympathetic characters. It feels like the writing is on the wall.
I canโt disagree with you. It seems like abc is self sabotaging. Iโm so upset that chad is leaving.
Why would they want to kill the show? It would put everyone, including the writers out of a job.
I think there are toxic issues behind-the-scenes that are now tainting all aspects of the show. There might be a need for changes at the helm.
Toxic is the right word. There’s a lack of respect for the history of the show and the viewers as well who
probably know GH history better than the writers.
I don’t know who Gio is, and at this point I don’t care, but even SORASED BLQ is not old enough to have
been at “camp” with Dante and Cody. If they were young teens, she would have been pre-teen.
Right? It was my understanding that Dante is a decade older than BLQ, so it would be alarming if they had been at camp kanoodling and making a little violin playing baby.
Also, why would Sonny support Gio? He didn’t know that Dante was his son until Dante came to Port Charles, which would have been AFTER Gio was born.
Dear Liz – I appreciate your thoughts on Lulu. I feel vindicated for all my opines on other boards.
I can’t with the character of Kristina any more: she is worse than Sonny. I am all about redemption/ forgiveness: I was pleased to see Molly apologize for her words at the funeral. Molly wanted information to help her process the baby’s death and the trial gave her that closure. Molly is sadly moving on. Krissy has regressed to the point of Id level – it is all about her and Sonny is enabling her. I shake my head at the wake of good intentions lost left by Kristina in the past 12 months: managing Charlie’s bar, the Center and Foundation, her relationship with Blaze, the Surrogacy and the baby, her relationship with her family, and her mindset focused now on murder. Most parents would be pushing their child into therapy – intense therapy. Sonny’s response – wanna job working for me?
No wonder GH is going down the tubes.
Kristina needs to take a long solo trip to Europe and find her inner Lexi Ainsworth.
The writing since Kate Mansi took over the role has been awful.
It’s time for an article about GH budget cuts. Actors have been dropping like flies all year.
Once the holidays are over, I might dive into that very subject!
I’m so glad I found your column again! I missed your unique style.
Aww! That means the world to me. I’m so happy you’re here. We’ve been having fun writing here.
Yes, Lulu’s “recovery” was ridiculous. Even more absurd was Kevin, who is a DOCTOR, walking into the apartment and greeting Lulu like a guest who had arrived for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Alarm bells and flashing red lights should have been going off in his head.
Hi Liz, another great column! Totally agree on so many points (notably the absence of the Q Thanksgiving, especially with such a full house, what a wasted opportunity!) I did enjoy the Carly participation in the convos with the brothers and Danny and Jason though. And while my true wish was to get Julie Marie Berman back if they were going to bring Lulu back and recast, I am also taking to the Nululu very quickly, she definitely has that Spencer energy.
I was soooooo hoping when seeing Kristina go into a fugue state after the verdict that her family would be forced to check her into the in-patient facility she so clearly needs. Maybe then she could emerge with her “spirited” character intact but have some chance at a productive — and less fingernails-on-the-chalkboard annoying — life. But no, we just had a double-down on the dangerous enablement (with Natalia joining the party, she wants into Sonny’s bed so badly!) I predict they are prepping the Kristina character to fully enter daddy’s line of work. And then we’ll see Alexis’ legal talents wasted on getting her off scott-free.
Are we supposed to think of Ric (I am so loving having Rick Hearst back) as the bad guy when he is right about every. single. thing. and coming from a true place in his concern and support for Molly’s long term mental and emotional well-being? Cuz I’m team Ric on this one.
And lastly, to me, TJ is being a complete and hypocritical ass. He is doing the same thing to Molly he accuses her of in terms of how to grieve and cope. But she accepts what he needs for himself and doesn’t expect him to grieve her way. At this point, I’d be relieved to see her freed from that relationship, it feels like it’s turned pretty controlling.
Ric really is the hero in this story. He did for Molly what her enabling mother couldn’t — accept that it was a tragic accident. As much as I loathe Kristina, I don’t blame her for that fall out the window or the baby’s death.
I’m also eager to see Ava and Ric explored. They have wonderful chemistry together, and both characters have a reason to join forces against Sonny. A great setup for some delicious soapy drama.
Like I said, I think T.J. is trying to heal himself by healing Molly, but he doesn’t recognize that her journey is different than his.
The writers have completely trashed Kristina. I’m almost glad that Lexi Ainsworth, who I really like, is gone and
doesn’t have to portray this suddenly whack job Kristina. They have also trashed Molly and TJ to an extent. I don’t want to see any of these three and don’t pay attention anymore when they are on screen.
Then we have Sonny glowering at Ava. Wasn’t it about yesterday that they seemed to be “besties”? Make up your minds writers!
Kristina has been utterly ruined. Whenever I hear her refer to Irene as “Adela” I’m reminded what a delusional manipulator she is. She uses Adela because she can’t even give T.J. and Molly that much of their daughter.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it was revealed that the surrogacy was all an elaborate scheme for Kristina to have her own baby.
Liz!!
I’ve been missing you!!
Good thing someone on Soap Central posted the link finally.
Hope this works.
I’m trying to sign in but it won’t let me.
Here’s what I posted on the “other” site:
Next, on “Hypocrite Junction!”
Where do I start?
Monday.
How does everyone end up at the Quartermaine Boathouse?
EwDrewQ loves to Slither past either Half Naked or in some Form-Fitting Wetsuit, because what Newly Elected Congressman/Slimeball doesn’t go Snorkeling/Surfing on Thanksgiving Weekend in one of the Great Lakes? Or whatever Body of Water folks in PC like to fall into.
Of course the DirtBag would try to take Scout to Washington DC.
Thank Goodness Carly appeared Out of Nowhere and put the Kibosh on that!
You’d think EwDrew and Jason were in Junior High or something.
~~~
TJ is acting like a Totally Selfish ManChild.
Sniveling because Molly isn’t grieving as he would like her to.
Shaddup!
Go to Couples Counseling, or Shaddddaaappp!!
I hope Molly moves on.
TJ needs to grow up.
~~~
Alexis is acting like a Brat as well.
And don’t even get me started on Sonny and NotKrissy!!
Talk about Enabling!!!
~~~
Um, Dante, how about giving your Ex-Mother-In-Law a call and let her know where Lulu is?
Why hadn’t Lucky or Liz called Dante? You know, he’s a Cop.
Duh.
He can help with the Smiley Cyrus Situation.
~~~~
Also, Dante, you Idiot!!
NuLulu just had a Liver Transplant!!
She needs to be on Meds!
Get her to GH STAT!!
And be sure to stop at your Local Medical Supply Store and pick up a few Stethoscopes for the GH Staff!!
~~~~
On Tuesday, during a “Flashback” Lulu was talking to Maxi about DustBin, supposedly shortly after the Floating Rib Bomb that killed him and shortly before she slipped into her Coma.
Why was her hair Gray? From the Bomb?
Lulu’s hair was NEVER Dark, or Gray, even after the explosion.
So what was that supposed to be?
~~~~
Poor Danny.
What a Good Kid.
Now he needs to go and give Rocco a hug.
~~~~
Don’t tell me that BLQ and Dante Knocked Knickers back in Camp and produced Gio?
Please tell me this is NOT where they are going with this.
There’s been too many odd looks and hints dropped recently.
And BLQ STILL won’t Get Naked for Chase!!!
So much for “Complete Honesty”.
~~~~
TJ is being a Total A**Hole.
First of all he’s being a Total Dick because Molly’s not Grieving properly, according to TJ’s World.
Then, getting bent out of shape because Molly was not receptive to the idea of trying yet again for a baby, for the THIRD time in a year?
I just want to smack his Smug, Entitled Face.
And Curtis’s, too, just for calling him “Nephew” and Coddling him.
He’s a Whiny ManChild as well.
~~
Loved the “Home and Ninth Circle of Hell” segment, even if it was Totally Predictable.
Who knew Lois would Go back to her “Bensonhurst Broad” accent and Sales would Skyrocket?
Everybody?
~~~
I liked the way NotKrissy instantly turned into a Stepford Wife Zombie the minute she heard the Verdict.
I’m guessing she’s now in Full-On Selfish Mob Bitch Mode.
I, for one, hope Ava and Slic Ric become “Friends”.
I do believe they’d make Quite the Couple!!
~~~~
Guess we Blew Right By Thanksgiving at the Q’s.
I suppose Sasha was too worried about being Knocked Up with Mikey’s Spawn to Attempt a Turkey.
Maybe Tracy will throw a Pizza Party in NuLulu’s Honor.
We are glad you found us! We are writing all sorts of things, so hopefully you’ll find lots of things to read.
Thanks, Dan! I’m still trying to figure this site out.
Found it!!
Missez Premise!!! I’ve missed your posts! I love that you guys are finding us here.
I’m with you about Lulu’s hair in the flashback scene. It was distracting.
Just found the link on Soap Central. After reading just a few articles, I feel like I’m home. I’ve never been one to post a lot, but I’ve read all the GH articles. So happy to hear from my favorites!!!
Welcome!! We love GH, so Tamilu and I are so grateful that we can still write here after leaving SOC.
I just couldn’t stay. I hated the lack of respect and love for the genre. Accuracy and quality were no longer a north star. It was all about volume. Our beloved readers were merely clicks.
I too was disappointed that there was no Thanksgiving!!
So wonderful to read so many comments! Thank you, Liz, for a great column!
I wonder if Thanksgiving will be late???
So glad I found where you ended up Liz! I miss your commentary!
I agree with you about Cyrus. I definitely think he’s the one who tampered with Lulu’s ventilator, but I don’t think he was trying to kill her. I actually think for some reason he thought that would push them to find Lulu a donor a lot faster. I definitely think he’s responsible for the Digitalis that Sam received, and I believe it was intentional. I think he had the idea to be Lulu’s savior in Laura’s eyes, by paving the way for Sam to be her donor, but also he needed Sam out of the way so that Lulu could have her happy family when she woke up and be with Dante.
I honestly wanted Molly to give Kristina a good right hook when Kristina told her that she was never really a mother to Adela (her name is IRENE!) Mother or not, I do not understand why Alexis continues to make excuses for her. She can’t just continue saying “Oh, Kristina is grieving so I have to be sensitive with her.” Molly was also grieving, yet her grief is somehow less relevant? I understand Alexis is going through a lot, but she needs to stand up and let Kristina know that she’s treating Molly like dirt, and Molly doesn’t deserve any of the treatment she’s giving her.
I hate that. Molly and TJ’s relationship is ending. It’s sad that he couldn’t understand her way of grieving, but it’s also understanding how he can be frustrated with it because not everybody understands the way someone else grieves. I do like that they finally had a conversation that led them to to understand where both of them stood in regards to the path forward, otherwise they would not have learned that TJ wanted to still have a family, while Molly had given up on the idea. I hope they at least stay strong friends and who knows, maybe eventually get back together somewhere down the line. Side note: I had never believed that the first surrogate had really lost their baby. Did they use the surrogate’s egg to make that baby, or were they able to use Molly’s? I only remember them suggesting using someone else’s egg when it came to the process with Kristina
We’re glad you found us, Kam! Please feel free to spread the word to other GH fans that Liz and Tamilu are still writing and I know that they’d LOVE to have their readers join us here.
Hi Liz! I am so happy someone posted about this site on the old one. It’s good to read your commentary again. And Dan too. I’m not going to make a comment tonight, but will be back.
Welcome! Feel free to spread the word. We are building a nice little community here, so I hope you enjoy your time here.
