Ex-wives, ex-husbands, ex-lovers, ex-friends — it was a week for the exes to unite as unexpected alliances were formed and battlelines were drawn. Let’s jump right in with this week’s General Hospital commentary for the week ending March 28, 2025.
Dear readers, you will be stuck with me for the next few weeks as Tamilu is off living her best life. But fear not, she will be back to writing juicy General Hospital commentary before you know it. In the meantime, the writers are giving me lots of soapy goodness to dish about. Let’s kick things off with Drew, the man who keeps finding new lows to piss everyone — including the viewers — off.
Murder on the Port Charles Express?
There’s no disputing that Drew Cain has a town full of enemies. If I were him, I’d avoid taking any trains when he travels to Washington, D.C. to do his congressional work. Not that he seems inclined to do more than use his status as a congressman to intimidate people who don’t kowtow to him.
Drew’s only allies these days are shady Port Charles councilman Ezra Boyle and possibly Jenz Sidwell, a man who has a gambling problem and homicidal tendances. Oh, and Willow who grows more insipid and delusional by the day. I feel sorry for Katelyn MacMullen because Willow has been utterly ruined with this storyline. Willow’s a vapid creature who doesn’t even know or care about her own children. She consistently puts her own needs first. Regardless of what Willow says, Wiley and Amelia miss their father because they love him, and they will not be happy seeing their great-uncle replacing their daddy in their lives. It’s ludicrous to suggest otherwise. Yet Willow does.
Back to Drew. If the writers aren’t setting him up to be a victim of foul play, they are missing a golden opportunity to do so.
Soapy goodness versus General Hospital history
There are those who believe the Drew stuff is very soapy. I donโt disagree. Alliances are forming daily as pretty much everyone Drew has ever come in to contact with prepares to go to war with him. Had this been Jenz Sidwell instead of Drew, I would enjoy all the drama so much more. Jenz is a bad guy and someone I can see myself loving to hate. However, the same can’t be said for Drew. Besides the fact that this drastic personality shift in Drew has come out of seemingly nowhere, I feel like it disrespects General Hospitalโs history.
Drew isn’t just going up against Tracy with this mausoleum nonsense. Monica owns the house and land — including everything on it — so he’s battling Monica. A woman he claimed to love as a mother. Not only that, but Monica has been in frail health for quite some time, and we recently lost Leslie Charleson. This feels so wrong for so many reasons. I appreciate that these scenes were written and filmed before Leslie’s passing, but the writing sloppy.
No way would a city councilman be able to obtain a court order to destroy a mausoleum with the remains of people still inside. Nor would he acknowledge it let alone justify such heinous actions while the opposition recorded him doing so on their phone. That goes double for a congressman.
Additionally, one of the Quartermaines in that crypt is Drewโs own father. It’s absolutely despicable. What kind of message does that send to Drewโs constituents and more importantly to his own daughter?
You know what I think would make for soapy goodness? If Drew got his just desserts and Willow saw him for the vile pile of dung he has become. (Shout-out to Missez Premise, who rightfully scolded me for insulting dogs last week when I likened Drew to one)
No way out for Drew
I donโt know where the writers are headed with all of this, but I do know that Drew is being written into a pretty tight corner. Most viewers want to see Drew gone when this is all over. Dead, prison, a long trip to Washington, D.C. It doesn’t matter. There’s no loving to hate Drew. We just straight up can’t stand to see the man and his jazz hands on our television screens.
If the writers want to keep Drew around, they need to come up with a creative way to salvage his character. Saving puppies and babies from a burning building won’t do it. A WSB Latex mask, an imposter with good plastic surgery, or even someone who figured out how to activate his brain mapping with one of Victorโs special cards would do it. Just please, no brain tumor.
General Hospital has great history to pull from, so it can be done.
The enemy of my enemy
When you rack up enough enemies, they will eventually band together. That’s exactly what happened when Ava invited Nina to Portia’s office. The two ladies have a common goal. Nina and Portia are desperate to take Drew down, so they promptly teamed up. I can’t wait to see what trouble they cook up together. I just hope it’s better than the nothing burger that Nina and Carly’s alliance gave us.
Interestingly, Portia has her mitts on Drewโs medical records. Will she find something in them that will prove to be the key to his downfall? One can only hope. I want Willow away from him. For the sake of the children, not because I give a fig about Willow. She can take a flying leap off a short pier for all I care.
The scene that really got under my skin was when Drew accused Nina of wanting him all to herself. According to Drew, Nina is actively trying to sabotage his relationship with Willow because if Nina canโt have him then no one can. Ew. Anyone who remembers Drew pre-Pentonville will recall that Drew was never this egotistical. Just one more reason why I don’t believe this person is the real Drew Cain. That is something Shiloh would say.
I hope Nina uses Drew’s newfound vanity to her advantage. Oh, and she calls Tante Liesl in as reinforcement. Someone needs to remind dingbat Willow that it was Liesl’s bone marrow that saved her life not Drewfus accompanying Liesl on the flight home.
General Hospital’s star-crossed lovers
Back in the day, Lucky and Liz were one of my favorite pairings. Jonathan Jackson and Becky Herbst were sheer perfection and their on-screen chemistry undeniable. Lucky was there for Liz during one of her darkest hours and she was there for him when he fell victim to Helena’s evil machinations, and his battles with addiction. Together, they grew and found love, and for a time built a life together.
Sparks recently reignited between Lucky and Liz when Lucky returned to Port Charles. During Thursday’s episode, Lucky surprised Liz with a romantic dinner catered by a restaurant they had visited during their first blush of romance. The scenes were sweet and included touching flashbacks of Liz and Lucky in their younger days. But I’m still not feeling their reunion. As I explained in my previous column, Lucky hasn’t done the work to get here with Liz or Aiden.
Rather than springing for romantic dinners and weekend getaways, why isn’t Lucky getting a place of his own? Putting down roots. Showing both Aiden and Liz that he intends to stay for the long haul. Lulu — to my complete surprise — was the voice of reason. She cautioned her brother about getting caught up in nostalgia. Lucky and Liz didn’t break up 25 years ago. They broke up when Aiden was an infant. It was ugly and messy. What followed was 15 years of Lucky being an absentee father. Liz raised their son all on her own, and there were times that she struggled financially.
I hate that Lucky seems to be getting a free pass on all of that.
There are no coincidences — especially on General Hospital
Is Morgan about to return from the dead? I don’t know, but what a soapy twist if he did.
At the close of Thursday’s episode, Brick gave Sonny and Jason a lead on the man who planted the firebomb in Sonny’s penthouse. After Sonny insisted on being a liability, err, I mean accompanying Jason to Toronto, the camera panned to Sonny’s office credenza and zoomed in on a photograph of Morgan and Michael.
I noticed the photograph earlier in the scene, but only Morgan’s image was visible. I remember thinking, “Why are we seeing Morgan? Coincidence?” That question was soon answered with the closing shot. There are no coincidences on soap operas, especially General Hospital. We saw the photo of Morgan and Michael smiling back at us for a reason.
I immediately suspected that the meeting between Sonny, Jason, and the assassin would be fateful. I don’t have any spoilers, but my gut tells me that something big is about to happen. Nothing would stop Sonny’s heart faster than seeing his dead son alive and well, minus a digit of course. If you recall, that was all they found of Morgan after the blast that supposedly killed him.
Is that why we saw Sonny collapse at Ava’s feet? Was it an intentional reminder of how fragile his heart is right now?
Killer Kristina
We all knew it would happen sooner or later. Kristina has been doing laps in the deep end for months now. Even before she went sailing through the Metro Court hotel’s window and lost baby Irene. Her inability to accept that the fall had been a terrible tragedy, and that she bore equal blame in the ugly confrontation has been mentioned by several people. It was even brought up at Ava’s trial. Kristina was no victim. She went to Ava’s hotel suite and initiated the confrontation.
People have warned both Alexis and Sonny that they weren’t doing Kristina any favors by coddling her since childhood. It appears that no one bothered to make certain that Kristina was following through with her therapy appointments. Therapy that Sam recommended and took her to when she first realized that Kristina was spiraling and deep in denial.
It all led to this moment, and I don’t feel sorry for anyone. Not for Sonny, not for Alexis, and certainly not for Kristina. It’s one thing to hate Ava, but it’s another to cut her brake lines. She didn’t even get that right. It turns out that Kristina cut the brake lines of Ric’s car putting both Ric and Liz in danger.
I don’t think Ric or Liz will die, but I can’t imagine that they will escape unscathed. Kristina acted recklessly and impulsively, so it’s doubtful that she covered her tracks very well. She will get busted for this. When she does, I suspect Kristina will be shipped off to Shadybrook to do her time and get some intensive therapy. I’m fine with that. I just need Kristina to go away for a while and return in better mental health than she is now.
General Hospital Quick Takes
So, Diane and Alexis are looking to add a new lawyer to their law firm, huh? Now, that Ric and Alexis have buried the hatchet (for now), will it be him? I would looooove that. Assuming he survives the crash, he might be more inclined to agree to Kristina going to Shadybrook if he and Alexis were law partners.
It looks like the WSB training center is close to Port Charles because Brennan was able to take a short helicopter ride to pay Josslyn a visit and be back in Port Charles in time to see Valentin off to Steinmauer.
Ava never learns from her mistakes. She should have rushed to help Sonny and given him his meds. That might have earned her a $2,000,000 thank you. I love her, but sometimes I just want to shake Ava.
When Brick showed up at Jordan’s apartment unannounced, he mentioned Isaiah’s family and some trouble they’d had. Was he referring to Llandview’s R.J. Gannon? Hope springs eternal that we will learn more about Isaiah soon.
What viewers are saying

Until next time, happy viewing. And to learn about life beyond Port Charles, be sure to check out Dan J Kroll’s latest commentary on the new soap Beyond the Gate. It’s called My View Beyond the Gates and you can read it here.

Dear Liz – you must be on a tear for your column to be up so early into the weekend, lol.
I like for my soap to at least have a semblence to reality.
The only reality I have seen this week is tamper with car brakes and a wreck will occur. Krissy has cross the line in her delusions to take down Ava Jerome as her justice for the baby.
And Lucky is the witness. He knows Krissy is culpable; he is just short on details.
I really hope there is no enabling, manuvering behind the scenes when Krissy is discovered as the perp. I want to see her tossed into an asylum and Sonny is unable to do anything and his bleats of “this is my fault – they used my daughter to get to me” falls on deaf ears.
I do hope no characters are permanetly harmed, but having Krissy loose support of everyone will be a long time coming.
The other reality wish is the Dilemma of the Q Crypt. The writing is now entered farce stage because it is so far removed from reality. And the show has covered cemetery closures just a few years ago! They know better. We know better!
Finally, was the actor portraying Lulu issued a wet blanket to use with all her performances, because that is what Lulu is these days: a wet blanket for her son, her daughter, her mother, her former place of employment, her friends, and now – her close family. I am not enjoying this character at all.
Here’s to 62 more years of soapness coming from Port Charles. Here’s to the character of Monica Quartermaine, a worthy leading character who was not perfect but gave as a role model as a cardiac physician / surgeon for littel girls who watched with their grandmothers.
Oh, I was definitely on a tear! LOL I agree, the tales of the Q crypt has reached the farcical stage. None of it is even remotely grounded in reality — soap or otherwise. It’s against the law to tear down a mausoleum with human remains still inside, and to suggest otherwise is insulting our intelligence.
Not to mention that the surveyor said that much of the building was on private property! So, wouldn’t the city have to justify tearing down a perfectly safe structure in court? My town had issues where it would take years to demolish neglected properties owned by deadbeats.
Liz, I get what youโre saying about Kristina and I donโt like her either, but at the same time, I do partially blame Ava for all of this. Ava has been completely unsympathetic to Kristina losing the baby. Even today, for her to say that Kristina isnโt a mother was just mean. No, itโs not Avaโs fault that Kristina lost the baby, but she could at least say sheโs sorry that they fought before Kristina fell out of the window. I canโt stand Kristina, but I donโt think that her hatred towards Ava is totally unfounded. Yes, Kristina isnโt being honest about Avaโs part in what happened to her baby, but what about everything else? Killing Connie, what she did to Morgan, and now this week, not helping Sonny when heโs on the floor possibly dying.
I agree that Ava has been provoking Kristina, but I get where Ava is coming from. She’s been falsely accused of a heinous crime, went to trial and got acquitted. Yet, Kristina continues to accuse her. There’s only so much turning the other cheek a person can do with someone like Kristina. Eventually, you start sniping back.
Kristina has an issue with Ava killing Connie, but Kristina has no problem with all the people that Sonny and Jason have killed over the years. It’s hypocritical.
But Michael canโt stand Ava, but loves Sonny and Jason. So in that regard, how is Kristina any different from Michael?
MIchael is not trying to kill people who oppose his father. That is the difference.
Good point.
Iโm with you on this Ryan. I think Ava has expressed regret in a way that doesnโt acknowledge any responsibility; but if she jokes about it and rubs it in Kristinaโs face, sheโs obviously not sorry. While I donโt think Avaโs legally responsible for what happened and, yes, Kristina needs to see psychiatrist, I do think Ava has some moral responsibility for Kristina being at the hotel in the first placeโthe result of Ava using Kristina to get a reaction out of unmedicated Sonnyโand for Ava grabbing Kristina because she said something Ava didnโt like.
Thatโs really Avaโs issue, which she complains about ALL the time: she doesnโt like people who donโt like her. If they try to hold her to account for anything, thatโs even worse. Because hereโs the basic tenet of being Ava: Everyone else is supposed to put aside every horrible thing Ava has ever done because those are not indicative of her true character. But if someone looks at her funny, she is fully entitled to go scorched earth on them.
Iโll admit a couple of things. My opinions on Ava are complicated. I donโt like her at allโฆbut I often find her wildly entertaining. And funny. She is just so arrogant that itโs sometimes hilarious. Right now though, there are a couple of things I have little patience for and donโt particularly want to watch on TV (1) politicians who are more interested in personal grudges than governance and (2) people who come up with ridiculous explanations to justify what they want. Sonny was right, if Ava wants to ask for money, ask for money. Donโt bring Avery into it. Really that just puts Ava right back where she was when she came in a decade or so agoโusing her kid as an ATM.
I canโt remember, why isnโt Ava asking Nina for money? Wouldnโt that make more sense than asking people who sheโs screwed over?
Ava did ask Nina for money, but it wasn’t enough.
I am flabbergasted at the stupidity of the crypt writing. It is literally ILLEGAL (yeah, I know) and against any logic. And it would be absolutely impossible to get a court order within 10 minutes indicating yeah, nothing to see here… let’s dig up a bunch of bodies. I know it is a soap; I know we stretch our imaginations… but this is just lazy, dumb writing. Do better, GH.
No politician would support Drew. It’s complete political suicide, especially when you’re talking about tearing down a building with human remains still inside.
The problem with these Kristina story lines is that they have made her so unlikable, so shallow and uninteresting that I’d rather not see her on screen at all. I just groan whenever she appears. When I liked Kristina (here’s to you Lexi A.), we never saw her.
That’s the crux of my issue with Kristina. I. Just. Don’t. Like. Her.
I used to love her when Lexi Ainsworth played her, but the writing has been absolute crap since Kate Mansi took over the role. The surrogacy sl showed such an ugly side of her.
Honestly, I wish she had died instead of Sam.
I know that Ava likes her martinis, but possibly 2 million in debt? This story already was full of holes but bringing in the IRS doesn’t make sense. If Ava owes any where near 2 million in back taxes, she would have had millions in income she wasn’t paying taxes on. She does have an accountant managing her finances, we saw him. Doesn’t he do his job? It was only fairly recently that the Cassadine estate clawed back her divorce settlement so how could she get so deep in debt so fast? Then there is tha fact that Ava didn’t even know that her money was taken from her accounts. How does that happen? Even the IRS notifies you when you owe money or they seize your bank accounts.
The whole premise that Valentin could have lawyers rescind her divorce settlement is laughable. Nikolas was the rightful heir at the time of the divorce and that agreement is legally binding.
There are a lot of lawyers on GH. Ric is close to Ava. One would think that when Ava was told that the
estate took back her divorce settlement, Ric would have said “hey , they can’t do that!” Instead of suing Sonny, Ava should be suing the Cassadine estate.
BTW, shout-out to Dan for the brilliant graphic he made for my column this week. It’s perfection!
My primary thought from Fridayโs episode: Kristina knows how to cut brakes on a car? I guess she picked up more than I thought when she was hanging out at Johnnyโs garage all those years ago. And how did she know which was Avaโs parking spot? I would think she would be more likely to know which was Avaโs car than which was her parking place. Do Ava and Ric have the same make and model car? Come on, you know one of those two has to have vanity plates that will distinguish them.
I agree with Liz Masters on wanting more Lucky and Aiden. I canโt believe they were going to dump him off at Lauraโs. Hereโs an ideaโinstead of reliving your teenage years, how about take your actual teenager to New York and create some new memories with him.
Right?!? I thought the same thing. If you want to impress me, impress my kids. Lucky should have included Aiden in that trip to New York for a stroll down Memory Lane.
Ava’s name was on the wall indicating it was her parking space. I wouldn’t want to live in a place that broadcast my name.
No kidding! Not to mention this is not supposed to be a pricey apartment. What low cost complex is going to be changing the names on the parking spots every time renters come and go.
I think Diane will hire MARCO; the lawyer Lucas met in Miami. He will probably turn out to be Sidwell and Natalia’s son. Good guy or not, time will tell.
Can someone explain to me how Kristina could NOT know the kind of car Ava drives?
Is anyone besides me disappointed in Sasha for lying to Maxie about Sidwell? I have ALWAYS loved Sasha until right now. Maxie has been a great friend to Sasha and now Sasha has in effect, betrayed her, Brook Lynn, Lucy and Tracy by making them THINK it’s okay to go into business with Sidwell. Very disappointing, especially because she did it for money. She doesn’t want to take money from Michael, the baby’s father or from Jason, but she’ll turn on her friends to take it from Sidwell! C’mon!
And what about Jordan throwing shade at Laura? Starting not to like her either.
I’m also irritated with Lulu. It’s been almost 15 years since Brook Lynn tried to unsuccessfully break up Dante and Lulu. Get over it already!
OMG!! Great call about Marco!!! I’d completely forgotten about him, but that makes so much sense. I bet you are right.
The writing for Sasha is baffling. Nothing about it makes sense. It would have been more logical if she and Michael had agreed to keep the secret until he got his divorce from Willow and custody issues settled.
If Michael’s connection to Sonny puts the baby in danger, why is it okay for the world to believe Sonny’s enforcer is the baby’s father?
Liz, I definitely agree with you about Liz and Lucky. Lucky was once a favorite character, but like his father Luke, he has not changed over the many years, nor have we seen any growth in the character. Liz is not the same
teenager that went to NYC all those years ago, but Lucky is very much the same. Contrast that to Tracy, who I once couldn’t stand. That character has evolved and become very a complexed individual over the years and now Tracy is a fan favorite.
Well said!
Hey Liz!
I really miss you on the “Old Site”.
(No Offense, Dan!)
They must have turned their “SPAM Filter” on to Romper Room Mode, because my post got “Removed and Held for Moderation” SIX times!!
So edited it to Kindergarten Language (I’m pretty sure one of my Offending Words was “Bang”).
Anyway, I’m going to attempt to post here, what they wouldn’t let me post “there”.
::Sigh::
Random Observations while Viewing:
This Week, on “Drew Q Must Die”…
Just when did Drew go from the Loving Father, ex-Navy Seal, to this current Version, a Clinically Insane, Narcissistic Megalomaniacal Misogynistic Festering Pile of Excrement?
Drew to Ninny,
“You’re not Protecting Willow, you just Want Me All To Yourself!”
Not Too Narcissistic, eh?
When Willow walked in and said , “Mom, what are you doing?” I was truly hoping Ninny would say,
“Oh, Drew and I were just remembering the Multiple Anger Management Sessions we had on the Carpet at Aurora!”
Just what does Porthole intend to do with Drew’s GH File?
More Blackmail?
And Ava bringing up HIPPA Violations?
HA! About time SOMEONE reminded Porthole of the Health Care Rules and Regulations.
Ava, once again, is the Voice of Reason.
Her advice to Porthole to tell Curtis about Drew’s Blackmail?
Just what we’ve been saying.

NuLulu is such a D-Bag.
Not “allowing” Charlotte to see her Papa off to Steinmaur.
I’m not worried, though. I can’t see him staying there long.
At least Alexis talked NuLu into Lightening Up.
Val gets me Verklempt every time.
Then when NuLu went to Brennan afterwards, I thought maybe she was concerned that Val would be killed, leaving Charlotte without her Father.
But NO, NuLu was worried he’d ESCAPE and try to kidnap Charlotte.
Just when she redeems herself a tad, she reverts to Total D-Bag.
Every Scene at WSB Spy Camp with Joss and Droopy Dawg and NotNotJack II the Sequel and That Other Guy was BORING.
Y’All just KNOW that there’s supposed to be “Tension” between Joss and Faux NotJagger Jingelheimer Schmidt II, but I just might doze off before this thing gets anywhere.
So, do they ever have Lunch of Dinner Breaks at Spy School?
NuNotJagger II the Sequel told Joss “it’s not a Prison”, but do they feed them, ever?
~~~
I just might enjoy a Ninny/Porthole/Ava TakeDown Drew Trifecta!
Oh, too bad Ava left.
So when did Emma and Gio become a Thing?
Was it when she gave him the Stolen Wallet at Rice Plaza just before Dex was stabbed by Smiley?
We didn’t even know she was Emma back then.
To me, she was Some Obnoxious Chick.
She still is, but now we know she’s “Emma Scorpio-Drake II the Sequel”.
Wait, are they related, too? Oh, fer Crying Out Loud, let’s not give the Writers (who Hate Us, BTW) and more Retcon Ideas!!
NotKrissy needs Therapy.
Didn’t Sonny tell NotKrissy (after she insisted on butting in as usual) that he agreed to compromise with Ava for Everyone’s Benefit, but ESPECIALLY to Reduce Stress Related Cardiomyopathy (I think that’s what Gannon said.)
So she ::Bursts:: into Sonny’s House (is there any other way for NotKrissy?), DEMANDING that he FIGHT for Custody of Avery once again, because she learned that Ava’s having Financial Difficulties.
NotKrissy, You Ignorant, Narcissistic Twit!!
Ava did NOT kill Molly and TJ’s Baby (where IS TJ???),
The Baby’s name is IRENE.
The Baby’s Name was NOT Adela.
You TRIPPED over a Duffel Bag.
Leave It Alone.
Oh, Goody.
Ava just arrived to ask Sonny for a “Loan”.
Quick! Hide Sonny’s Meds!!!
Oh, terrific. Ava just caused Sonny to have a “Cardiac Event”.
Yet another thing for NotKrissy to blame Ava for.
Because, you know, NOTHING is EVER Sonny’s Fault.
Oh, look! Ava’s gonna pull a “Tracy” on Sonny and hide his pills, or so she thinks.
What is it with these Writers?
How many times are they gonna use the Same Plots with the Same Characters, Same Props (Rx Meds)??
Ooo! NotKrissy to the Rescue!!
Quick! Call a Transplant Surgeon!!
Gannon to the Rescue!!
Look!! He has a Stethoscope!!
Not that he actually used it…
~~
Part Four (of my my comments which are repeatedly “Removed for Moderation)
Liz asking Slic Ric’s help??
Well I’ll be! Ric mentioned HIPPA Laws!!
That’s Twice in One Week somebody actually acknowledged that Privacy Laws Exist.
Now if some of the Medical Professionals at GH would figure out how to Actually Use a Stethoscope….
~~~
Ned’s idea to tell Willow that Ninny and EwDrewQ were Bumping Uglies before, during, and after he started chasing after Willow.
Would someone PLEASE DO THIS!!
Hire a Freaking Skywriter already!
~~~~
Kirsten Storms looks Fabulous.
I do hope this was a Healthy Weight Loss for her.
I adore Maxi no matter what she looks like. I adore KS no matter what, but I want her to be Healthy.
~~~
I despise Politics.
Why do the Writers, who Hate Us by the way, insist on inserting more Politicians into the story? Now they have this new creep, a Steve Bannon Doppelganger, sticking his head straight up Drew Q’s Dirt Chute.
You can’t Raze a Mausoleum because some Deranged Ex-Seal Congressman and his Butt-Buddy Steve Bannon Doppelganger are having a Hissy Fit!!
It doesn’t work that way.
NuLulu is Out of Her Mind. She keeps going on and on and now she’s even ragging at Cooty about how Dante lied to her, how she thought they had no secrets blah blah blah. Has she forgotten that *she* went on an Excursion (probably to find Ethan if I remember correctly) with Dylan and Dante, Assuming that they were Bumping Uglies decided to do her Cousin Valerie? Has she forgotten all that? So yeah Dante has been messing with your head long before this and long after his tryst with Brooklyn when they were 16.
~~~
This was the Best Line O The Week(Maybe):
Krissy ::Storms Over to Ava’s:::
::Boom Boom Boom::
Ava (after hiding Ric):
“Come on in! Speak your Peace, but PLEASE stay away from the Window!! Wouldn’t want a repeat of the last time you barged in on me!”
That made my whole week, really, that one line delivered so perfectly by Ava.
And the ::look:: NotKrissy gave her.
I had to watch that scene three times.
~~~
Oh fer the Love of Everything Soapy!
Of COURSE NotKrissy cut Ric’s and not Ava’s (because he was parked in her spot) brakes!!
And Of Course Liz is in the Car when it crashes.
Because.
The Writers Hate Us and We Can’t Have Nice Things.
It breaks my heart what they’ve done to the old site. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t stay there. Everything from the leadership down was a hot mess and it was clear they didn’t value their writers or respect the soaps. They only care about clicks. No fact checking, no quality control, no love for the readers.
It’s a nightmare to navigate too.
As always, love reading your thoughts! ๐
I’m so glad I found you and Tami on this site. I have always read the 2 scoops commentary on Sunday morning. I could not keep reading on the other site because of multiple pop ups and other irritating problems.
Thank you for continuing to write informative and entertaining GH articles!
Thanks , Liz!
I look forward to your columns. ๐
That scene with Drew telling Nina that he believed she wanted him all to himself really made my skin crawl. I agree that Drew definitely became egotistical after coming out of prison, however, that ego seems to get snuffed out by Jason. The minute Jason came back to town, he conceded that Carly would choose Jason over him, without her saying or even really doing anything to make him think that would be the case. He constantly acts like he is Jan and Jason is Marsha, believing that everybody loves Jason over him. In my opinion, Jason is Drew’s weakness. All Jason has to do is something that would make Willow act kind towards him or side with him, and Drew would be so angry that he would act out in a way that would set off his own downfall.
