General Hospital Commentary: Unlucky in love, well, maybe so…

General Hospital Commentary: Unlucky in love, well, maybe so…

It was an explosive week as Michael and Willow faced off in court — and Sasha gave birth. Can Nina and Drew keep their secrets from Willow? What happens with Liz now that Lucky is headed out of town? It’s time to discuss all that and more in a new General Hospital commentary for the week ending June 6, 2025.

Dearest readers, it has been nearly two months since I have written about General Hospital. I spent the entire month of April traveling, two weeks on a transatlantic cruise and then two weeks in Europe. It was glorious!
Once I got back to the U.S., I had a month’s worth of three soaps to catch up on, which took a minute. You can read my observations in the “General Hospital is just better” column.

General Hospital has been on fire lately, and this week was no exception.

First, I would like to start with something that has left me deeply disappointed. The news that Jonathan Jackson is leaving, and Lucky will be heading off again into the abyss, has made both mad and sad.

General Hospital hyped the return of the beloved Emmy award-winning actor Jonathan Jackson and then did nothing with him for months. Lucky started out playing life-or-death Poker with Sidwell for weeks, then finally came home, presumably to save Lulu’s life, but he was not a match! What? Why? Oh, right, they wanted to fire Kelly Monaco and kill off Sam.

Lucky only had a few conversations with Aiden; then, he got dragged into Kristina’s stupid brake-cutting drama. Sprinkled in, here and there, we got the part we wanted — a few sweet and tender scenes with Liz and Lucky. Lucky never saw his brother, Nikolas, rarely saw Laura, and had one heart-to-heart with Sonny. An actor of his caliber should have been dropped into a real storyline with meat. The kind that would win him another Emmy. But helping Kristina get away with attempted murder was not the storyline I envisioned for Lucky.

When Lucky confessed that he knew Kristina cut Ric’s brakes, I thought Liz would be furious with him; they would fight, she would go out with Ric a few times, and get in Ava’s crosshairs, but she and Lucky would eventually patch things up. Nope. She forgave him instantly, and it seemed the two of them were on the path to eternal bliss. However, the next day, he proposed, and they broke up; now he’s gone.

Seriously, why? I’m perturbed.

Now that Liz knows about Kristina’s role in her accident, and Lucky is leaving, will Liz keep that secret, or will she turn Kristina in? If so, she could save Alexis from perjury charges. But that would mean implicating Lucky in the cover-up, so she probably won’t.

A lot of online buzz is speculating about Liz’s future. Lucky is leaving. Ric is with Ava. Jason and Liz are both single. Jason is ready to leave the mob and settle down. Is this finally the time for Liason (Liz and Jason)? Oh, I wish that would happen. But I doubt the writers will let us have that. I think they would pair Jason with Robin’s mom, Anna, before letting him have Liz.

I want Liason, but I am afraid to hope.

It no longer makes sense to keep them apart.

In the past, Liz was portrayed as pure and innocent. The powers that be didn’t want Liz tarnished by Jason’s life in the mob. But in the meantime, Liz and Finn dragged Peter August’s body around and put it in the hospital freezer, among other misdeeds. Liz is not quite that innocent anymore. I hope this is the time for Liz and Jason. She would make a great stepmom for Danny, and the rarely seen Jake could get some airtime if his dad moved in. We have waited decades for this. But, if the same writers that wrote for Liz and Lucky write for Liason, maybe Jason will just start playing poker with Sidwell.

But wait! Plot twist ahead.

Deadline is reporting that Kelly Thiebaud is on her way back to General Hospital! Is Britt alive, or will Kelly be playing someone new? If Britt is alive and did not die by Heather’s poison hook, where has she been all this time, and who had her? Victor Cassadine? Shiloh? Sure, they are both presumed dead too. But if Britt is alive, who knows who else is alive with her.

Does this also mean we get Kathleen Gati back as Dr. O?

There are so many soapalicious possibilities here. But Jason and Britt were getting close before she died, so will that relationship sideline our Liason daydreams? I am very curious to see how this all plays out and whether Kelly will return as Britt or as an entirely new character, just like Sarah Joy Brown and Tamara Braun have done before. Of course, if Portia is about to lose her medical license, bringing Britt back makes sense because someone will have to run the hospital. Terry seems to have vanished from Port Charles; we rarely ever see her.

Since Cody mentioned Britt by name today, it leads me to believe Kelly will be coming back as Britt. As soon as the townspeople start reminiscing about you, that’s soap code for “she’s secretly alive.”

The same writers who disappointed me with Lucky’s return have also given me so much soap gold lately that I can’t stay mad at them long.

Sasha giving birth in the middle of a courtroom right after being forced to admit the baby she was carrying was Michael’s, and then Willow delivering her husband’s one-night stand baby was primo soapaliciousness. My husband, who pretends not to watch General Hospital, said, “So the courthouse doesn’t have any medical personnel around?” I had to explain to him that the medical personnel enroute were deterred by protestors outside.

Soap recasts are always a roll of the dice, but the casting director came up with all 7s with Rory Gibson. From his first grand entrance at the Nurses Ball to whisking Wiley into his arms and walking out, I thought, “Hot damn!” Rory gave me a young Nikolas Cassadine/Tyler Christopher vibe. Strength, elegance, fire, and tenderness all rolled into one beautiful package. I love him already, and I can see the writers intend to take Michael to new heights.

Chad Duell was a great Michael for the time; he was the sad puppy Michael, and Rory is going to be all grown up fierce Michael, and I am ready to embrace him with both arms.

The courthouse scenes had a lot of deliciously soapy legal work by both Ric Lansing and Diane Miller. Secrets flooded out into the courtroom. Michael learned that Willow had made Drew guardian of her kids behind Michael’s back, Willow and Drew’s nanny cam sex made an appearance, Michael and Sasha’s one-night stand came out, and Carly blurted out that it was Nina who paid Jacinda to drug Drew! But there are still secrets on the table! When will it come out that Nina slept with Drew? And who blew up Sonny’s penthouse and left Michael burned in the first place?

I know Sasha wanted to raise her baby alone, but that was with old Michael. Now that NuMichael is holding her and their baby in his arms, how solid will her resolve be to keep him at arm’s length? I predict they will be a family by Christmas.

At the end of Friday’s episode, Michael and Willow were holding Wiley and Amelia and went to the nursery to meet baby Daisy. Despite everything, they looked like a pretty happy little family. When Drew came around the corner and saw that, his eyes shot daggers at them. What evil plot will he devise to get rid of Michael? Heck, maybe Drew is the one who bombed Sonny’s penthouse, knowing Michael was in there and trying to clear the path for himself with Willow?!?! People just assume it was meant for Sonny, but who knows?

If dreams come true, Michael will end up raising all three of his kids with Sasha. Willow seems to think that since Michael cheated first, she will automatically get full custody. But in my opinion, Michael’s drunken one-night stand after finding his wife kissing his uncle seems less troublesome than Willow bartering with her children to keep Michael’s family away from him when he was at death’s door and secretly giving Drew guardianship while carrying on a public affair during the same time her husband was languishing in a burn clinic is far worse!

I want Michael to get everything and Willow and Drew to get nothing. I want the judge to yell at Willow Willy Wonka style. “You get nothing. You lose. Good day, Sir.”

I don’t know if Drew is even Drew, or if he is Shiloh in disguise, or if he is being controlled by Victor Cassadine’s tarot cards. One test would be for Jason to ask Drew about a shared memory since — as far as I know — Drew still has all of Jason’s memories in his head. If Drew didn’t answer the question, they would know he’s not Drew.

For a while, everyone in Port Charles was saying, ‘Drew doesn’t seem like himself since he came back from prison.’ But then they just sort of dropped that. Now, everyone is just accepting that this vile human being is Drew. Maybe WSB trainee Agent Joss should ask Drew for minute details about Oscar and see if he knows anything about his son. Bring Kim Nero back to town and tell Drew that she lied and her baby is really Drew’s. Let’s see how he responds to that news.

If Drew is not Drew, how do we smoke him out?

When Cameron Mathison first came to the show as Drew and had those sweet Christmas scenes with Sam and Scout, I was hopeful. But now, every time he comes on the screen, I feel my skin crawl. I am holding on to hope that this version of Drew is an imposter and that someone will expose him as a phony, allowing the writers to rewrite Drew into a decent human being again.

Imagine if that happens. Let’s say Drew is Shiloh, and Willow is suddenly left with nothing. Real Drew doesn’t even know her; Michael has moved on with Sasha. She has lost custody of her kids. What would come next for Willow? Would she fight to get Michael back, or would she slink out of town and vanish, or try to find a new controlling man to guide her?

Across town, the soapiness continues as the fallout from Gio’s parentage, and the secrets and lies surrounding it, are like little grenades exploding all over town. At least Gio knows now that Brook Lynn didn’t realize he was her son, but the pain he has that she gave him up in the first place still lingers. He is hurt, confused, and reeling from everything he learned this week.

I have been wowed by Giovanni Mazza’s performances over the past two weeks. From his dramatic violin-smashing revelation at the Nurses Ball to his heartbreaking scenes with Emma (the adorable Braedyn Bruner), he has shown every range of emotion. He has grown so much since he first joined General Hospital a year ago. I am happy that he is instantly part of the Q family, the Corinthos family, and, of course, the Cerullo clan. Tracy’s embrace of him left me in tears; I know that was last week, but Jane Elliot’s beautiful scenes are still dancing around in my head.

Do you know who never gets enough attention and praise in my mind? Dominic Zamprogna. His scenes as Dante interacts with Lulu, Gio, Brook Lynn, Sonny — everyone on the canvas — have been stellar. I hope he picks a few of his best scenes and submits them for Emmy consideration.

Amanda Setton is also worth every penny General Hospital pays her. She has been brilliant in her gut-wrenching scenes of betrayal with Lulu and Gloria, as well as in her reaching out to her newfound son. But the scenes of betrayal with Lois and Brook Lynn? Chef’s kiss. Rena Sofer and Amanda probably needed strong drinks after they shot those scenes.

As for Lulu, I believe she believes she was doing the right thing. She genuinely believed in her soul that Dante had a right to know that he had a son. But Dante didn’t thank her. Instead, he made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with her other than to co-parent Rocco.

Dante doesn’t believe Lulu’s denials about not digging this up to stick it to Brook Lynn. Sure, it was none of Lulu’s business, but I tried to put myself in her shoes. If I had a kid and I found out my kid had a half-brother, I’d snoop around to find out more info about him, too. Considering the fact that Lulu and Lucky didn’t know Nikolas existed until Laura needed him to save baby Lulu’s life, Lulu has a little firsthand experience with secret siblings. Does Lulu hate BLQ? Yes. Is that the main reason she dug up this secret? No.

Will Dante eventually forgive Lulu? I predict she will have to fight to win back his trust and maybe even make peace with Brook Lynn, which won’t come easily. Since Maxie loves them both, she could serve as their intermediary. Or perhaps that would drive her to drink.

Kai and Trina are getting so close I have to wonder if and when Spencer will come back to town. That would be the soapiest outcome. Trina and Kai fall deeply in love only for Spencer to show up alive and well, and Trina leaps into his arms like she did in Greenland.

Here’s the clip of that magnificent moment if you’ve forgotten:

But will it be Nicholas Alexander Chavez, or will we get a Spencer recast? I’m not sure, but a recent interview with Chavez didn’t slam the door closed on returning; however, he also said he would support a recast if General Hospital decided to put someone new in the role. As for me, I’d love to see Chavez return and wrap up his storyline, but only if they actually resolve Trina and Spencer’s love story rather than heavily promoting his return and then leaving him with no significant scenes for months. (No, I will not let my anger over Jonathan Jacksons’ exit go yet.)

Natalia was on this week, and I asked, “Why” I thought we were done with her. Marco wants nothing to do with her, Allison (Blaze) wants nothing to do with her, and hey, I want nothing to do with her either. I was happy to see her arrested for drunk driving. Hopefully, she ends up in rehab, or even better, Pentonville, for the next ten years.

I don’t know anyone who likes the character of Natalia. But I know many people who love Eva LaRue. It’s not about the actress. The problem is the character who came on as Blaze’s mom and then didn’t leave when Blaze left. It’s the forced and uninteresting relationship with Sonny. It’s tying her to Sidwell and then Sonny not disowning her as he would have anyone else who lied to him for months. Did ABC sign a two-year deal with her? Are they contractually obligated to trot her out a few times a month? Do they have an actual storyline in mind for her, and if so, when does it kick off? Being the accountant at Deception wasn’t much of a story.

But wait, conniving ADA Turner, who is gunning for Robert Scorpio’s job. She thinks that she can use Natalia to get dirt on Sonny. And as sloppy drunk as Natalia is right now, it will probably work. ADA Turner confronted Anna today about being pals with Jason, and Ezra Boyle confronted Laura yesterday about meeting with Sonny.

Dear readers, twenty-some years in, everyone in Port Charles probably knows that Sonny and Laura share grandchildren (Spencer, Rocco, and Ace) and have relatives in common. I doubt any voters in Port Charles would be shocked by their relationship. This is a dead-end storyline if you know anything about General Hospital history.

Perhaps adult Spencer will return to town and admit that he stole a ballot box full of votes the first time his grandmother Laura ran for office. Ha!

Nina apologized to Sasha for blowing up her life and outing her baby daddy to Ric. Sasha said she was too tired to fight with Nina, but I hope she gets the energy to fight with her later. Instant forgiveness of a betrayal without working through things is lazy writing to me. I’m still mad that Sonny forgave Nina so easily for the Nixon Falls nightmare and had a romantic relationship with her. How does she always get away with stuff?

Drew seems less likely to let her off the hook over drugging him and hiring a hooker to make him look bad, but Nina is blackmailing her way out of that one by threatening to tell Willow she was sleeping with Drew. That won’t end well for Nina either. Again, I am hoping he is not Drew and gets carted away to defrocked cult leader jail.

Will Laura do more digging on the $10,000,000 missing from Ace’s estate? What about Ava? Will Laura get suspicious when she sees Ava with a new Maserati and dripping in diamonds?

Can Gio give his new brother Rocco the chance to get to know him even though he’s wary of Dante?

Will creepy Professor Dalton keep eyeing Emma in the pool? It could be that Jack Brennan recruited both Emma and Joss as WSB agents, and he’s pitting them against each other to see who comes out on top.

Will baby Daisy get “Monica” or “Bobbie” for a middle name?

Will Gloria and Lois go to Coney Island to cheer themselves up after being booted from the Q house so unceremoniously?

Can we expect to see Willow finally get mental health care to break the cult leader pattern that Michael brought up in court? Will Drew bust into the ladies’ room again to confront Joss about the last time he busted into the ladies’ room?

Do any of the cops at the PCPD care that Natalia is wearing a WHITE DRESS?

Will Curtis take Marshall’s advice and give Portia another chance, or will he set her free?

Will Jason being Daisy’s godfather mean he will start reading her travel books? (I hope so.)

Is Liz going to realize Port Charles really is small and boring and go off to see the world with Lucky? (Of course not.)

Will Cody and Molly be able to get their feet all the way wet in the world’s most shallow pool?

And now it’s time to say goodbye…

Only tomorrow knows, dear readers, and I will tune in tomorrow as long as there are tomorrows. And as long as there are tomorrows, why not check out Dan J Kroll’s latest commentary on Beyond the Gates. It’s called It’s where I store my hopes and dreams.

Tamilu, welcome back. Drew, Nina, ric, and willow are just horrible people. When Nina smirks, my stomach turns. The way she talked about Michael on the witness stand sickened me. Iโ€™m pissed that Sasha gave Nina a pass. Like you, Iโ€™m tired of her getting away with her crap.

    • Kathie

In fairness, Sasha did just have a baby. I can understand that she wouldn’t want to expend a lot of negative energy hating Nina. It’s not like they spend much time together anymore anyway. I do think though that, if they’re not going to be keeping each other’s secrets, Sasha should feel free to share her knowledge of Nina’s and Drew’s affair with Michael (Willow wouldn’t believe her so she shouldn’t waste any time there). Diane could call Drew to testify and ask him about it which would either (1) make Drew look like the creep he is or (2) shock Willow into dumping him. Either of those options would be fine with Michael.

I’m with you on Ric. He’s always been a sleaze but with enough charm to sometimes disguise it. So even if I don’t like him, I often find Ric entertaining. What’s annoying me now is that he wants Molly to hold Alexis accountable for her failings, but he gets to do whatever he wants. Michael is Molly’s family. If he wants to be able to attack him and not get judgement from Molly, he shouldn’t be wining about Alexis.

Plus, Ric is waaay too old to still be holding a grudge against Sonny for decisions their mother made decades ago. It’s not like Sonny had a better childhood than Ric did. My consolation is that when Ric and Ava’s relationship falls apart–and it will because Ava’s relationships always do–it should be ugly.

      • Ryan

I agree with everything you said. What bugs me about Nina though is the disgusting way she talks about Michael. What she said on the witness stand about Michael and the smug, evil way she said it made me want to smack her.

      • Tamilu

Ric and Ava had potential at the beginning, but it’s never been fully developed. I love Rick Hearst, but just like JJ, I don’t think they are using the character of Ric as much or as well as I would like.

        • Kathie

It depends on your perspective I guess. For most of Ric’s time on the show, he’s been a shady guy, an antagonist and disrupter. So for him to be used now in the same way is not new, and even if he’s annoying me, I don’t have a problem with it. Same goes for Ava.

GH does have a couples problem in general though. Not a lot of romance or pairings you want to root for.

    • Tamilu

Maybe today she will pay. ๐Ÿ™‚ Let’s hope!

    • Tamilu

Maybe after Sasha gets a nap she will go off on her. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. CeeGee

Welcome back Tamilu! Boy did that clip of the scenes culminating in the glorious Trina leap into Spencer’s arms make me miss Valentin all the more. And although I realize it’s probably unlikely, I would love to see Nicholas Chavez return as Spencer too.

Speaking of hopes and dreams when it comes to returns, although I would be totally down for Elizabeth and Jason to rekindle, I long for Franco (absolutely played by Roger Howarth) to come back. He and Elizabeth had true magic onscreen…and just THINK of the possibilities of how he could mess with Drew (and/or a Shiloh/Drew creature if that’s where this ends up.) Having been ‘inhabited’ by Drew’s brain for a while!

    • Mary Pal

great commentsโ€ฆ please bring back Francoโ€ฆ he & Liz were magic

    • Tamilu

I agree. Killing off Franco will live long in my memory of dumb decisions by the GH brass. Roger Howarth and Rebecca Herbst were magical together.

  3. Rita 2025

Sorry there is nothing about the Trina and Kai scenes that convince me that they are falling deeply in love. The couple brings nothing to the canvas.

So, many of their key scenes copy Sprina and much of the dialogue is repetitive. It makes me wonder how invested are the writers in this pairing. GH is spending more time on building a foundation for Gio and Emma than they did with Trina and Kai.

Everything for Trina and Kai, feels forced and rushed which leads me to believe the show has to be preparing for a Spencer return recast or not. Letโ€™s not forget we were told their relationship would be a slow burn and that definitely didnโ€™t happen.

    • JBJ

Actually, didn’t Shiloh try to recruit Oscar at one point?

      • Kathie

When Oscar didnโ€™t want to live with Kim, he moved into the DOD house. I donโ€™t think Oscar was ever won over by the cult partโ€”it was more about having a place to liveโ€”but he did leave his ELQ shares to Shiloh. Which then went to Nelle after her jail house marriage to Shiloh and his subsequent death.

    • Tamilu

I really hope this version if Drew IS Shiloh and then we can get nice Drew back. But nice Drew isn’t in love with Willow, so she’d probably go crawling back to Michael.

  4. Kathie

Welcome back Tamilu! It is too bad you didn’t find Spencer while you were in Europe.

Like you, I’m disappointed about Jonathan Jackson. Sort of. I’m more disappointed about how poorly he’s been used in the past year; so he might as well go. But it’s been a real waste and maintains the status quo as far as Lucky being a poor father.

I’ll be glad to see Kelly Thiebaud back. As ridiculous as it would be to bring Britt back from the dead–I mean, she died in her mother’s, the doctor, arms and had a terminal illness anyway–I’d prefer that to a new character. Or, if it’s not going to be Britt, make her a twin or a look a like so whatever storyline can make use of the show’s history with Britt. Recent history has been that actors will come back as completely different characters with no comment on the resemblance to the old one. My guess is that the show will put her with Steve Burton to give Jason more to do than listen to everyone else’s problems.

    • Tamilu

Yes, if it’s Britt, the writers will have a lot of fancy storytelling to do to make it make sense. But currently on the show, Anna, Robert, Drew, Laura, Jason, Ava, Lucky and probably more charactersI am forgetting were presumed dead at one point or another. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Kathie

At least with all of those people, there was no body or the body was unrecognizable. If Britt were to return, it would be along the lines of Jake, Lesley Webber or Stavros Cassadine (more than once) where there was clearly a dead body yet they apparently survived. BUT in none of those cases did the characters have a fatal disease that would have killed them by the time they returned anyway.

Things like that always make me think of that movie Soap dish where the producers brought back a character who was decapitated. Whoppi Goldberg ranting “He doesn’t have a head! How am I supposed to write for a guy who doesn’t have a head!”.

  5. Nell

I read that JJ was leaving so for a brief, very brief, moment I had a tiny ember of hope that since Lucky is leaving town yet again they might give Liz and Jason a chance. Both Liz and Jason (unlike Lucky) have grown and changed so I was hopeful that they could get the Liason liaison you mentioned. A couple of hours later, I read the latest casting news and that ember got thoroughly doused! Oh well, at least I had no time to let the hope build.

    • Tamilu

Well, maybe they are bringing Kelly Thiebaud back as someone new, maybe one of Sidwell’s exes or something. Or maybe she’s in the WSB with Joss. LOL

      • Nell

Possibly! However, I think they will be putting her in Jason’s orbit regardless of which character she is portraying. I hope if they bring Britt back back, they have her mom accompanying her and that Dr. O cured her as well as bringing her back from the dead! A not sick twin would also work. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Kam

I seem to recall that, in addition to Maxie, Nina also told Sasha about sleeping with Drew. As a matter of fact, I could have sworn that it happened a few minutes before Sasha caught Drew and Willow kissing on July 4th. When Nina revealed that she was the one who exposed to Rick that Michael was likely the father of Sasha’s baby, Sasha would then mention the fact that she hadn’t told anybody about the fact that Nina and Drew were sleeping together, at which point and Willow would have walked in with Michael to hear that.

  7. Humor Me

    Welcome Back Tamilu –
At least storylines have moved since your last column.
Just one rant – Nina. Dear NIna, who confessed to Sasha that she is the one who “did not mean to” expose her affair, ahem, ONS, with MIchael. After she went through an entire eppy stating she could not hurt Sasha, but she was willing to see her daughter loose full custody. Then….off screen? she tells Ric to talk to the bartender at the Brown Dog and is shocked that Ric also figured out the secret? And Nina is just so sorry about it all. She did not mean for Ric to take “that far”.
Sasha – bless her heart – was too tired to fight with her. I wait for Sasha to recup and gather her mental, emotional strength to cut NIna from her life. Sasha has prostrated herself enough at the feet of Dear Nina for her part in the Faux Daughter fiasco. If this is how Nina treats people who have been beholden to her, then Sasha has paid her dues and needs to cut ties. And Nina was soooo sorry.
Okay – I get MIchael had a ONS. I get they were drunk. I am not excuseing that ONS. It was wrong – MIchael was legally married. Sasha knew this too.

For Nina to jsut be sooo sorry and coo and babble and be so happy for Sasha is the second biggest mixed message on the canvas. What is first? The (stupid) writing that His ONS will cost him full custody and the judge will award that to Willow beause MIchael cheated first a la sexual intercourse.
What do we call kissing, lust, stalking, lust, and refusal to correct the impulses that were pulling Willow from her marriage with MIchael. It sure looked like cheating to this viewer, and NIna, by advising her daughter not to admit it to MIchael, did not help her daugher at all. (Her rational – I will throw myself at Drew until he will not think of Willow. LOL – yea, see where that got ya Nina…_)
Gee whiz – I remember just a year ago on a soap board a huge outcry that Josslyn had cheated on Cam because she kissed Dex – for months. And months. And some still call her a cheater.

Rant over. Let’s get the rest of this custody trial over with and implode Drew in the process. I am ready to send Lucky off, welcome back KT, and hopefully KG, and hope that the summer soap bomb could be a recast Spencer.

    • Tamilu

I agree – if the judge thinks a drunken ONS is worse than all the things Willow and Drew did both before and after Michael and Sasha slept together, it will be a travesty.

  8. Linus van Pelt

For a FLEETING moment when the divorce/custody hearing was going and Michael was talking about Willow and Shiloh, I thought “it would be SO amazing if a second Drew walked in” and started the downfall of Ew and reveal of a Shiloh imposterdom.

But then I immediately thought “Cameron Matheson couldn’t pull off a double role” (and I doubt GH would be THAT exciting after its protracted languishing (which thankfully seems to be improving).

Something during this past week (possibly the talk of ADA Turner’s ambitions) made me remember they dropped any discussion of PCPD investigating Cyrus’s death (much as they previously had Austin’s). PCPD must have one of the longer list of unsolved cold cases out there.

    • Kathie

Donโ€™t forget about John Cates. An FBI agent no less

In the PCPDs defense, no one except for Joss and Brennan (and his agents) know that Cyrus is dead. Yes, they did question Jason. But a perfectly good working theory would be that Cyrus fled town. So maybe heโ€™s on the FBIs most wanted list somewhere

      • Tamilu

That one really bugs me. Cates was killed in cold blood- an FBI agent and there were zero repurcussions or investigations. Unless it comes back later, like say Jack Brennan or Sidwell has the info and they are waiting for use proof against Sonny when they need to blackmail him, it doesn’t make sense.

    • Brittany

Did anyone ever find out that Cyrus was responsible for having Drew beat up in prison?

      • Tamilu

We need to start a list of mysteriously dropped storylines.

    • Tamilu

I am hoping for a second Drew to walk in, too – but since it didn’t happen during May sweeps, I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
