I'm stunned by Emma's behavior today. Not only did she decide Maxie and Sasha's private business was hers and eavesdropped on them, but she now thinks it's her right to tell others about something that Sasha has not made public.
This is not the Emma I knew. I don't know who this chit is, but I don't like her. At all. This new side of Emma was so unnecessary, and I'm not sure why the writers have done this. It doesn't make Emma edgy or interesting. It makes her obnoxious and annoying.
I actually forgot that Sasha is now her Aunt ? I guess that's why Sasha is on her radar ? It also sounded to me like her discussion with Gio was Emma trying to fit in with Gio making herself relevant? Trying to impress him . It's more of a highschool girl conversation but here we are !
It's really out of character for Emma, but if I ignore the gossip and just concentrate on her rebellious side, she is the only young adult who behaves like a young adult and parties. I think that rounding her out puts her more in a realistic direction. It's just not our Emma.
I get that each actor gets to make the character their own, and the writers might want to take her in a new direction. I'm keeping an open mind about Emma. I watched her grow up for the most part and she was by bar my favorite kid on the canvas.
I'd rather the writers have her stir up trouble for Josslyn than Sasha though.
I don't know that Emma is a partier ? Or is she a person who
had a party & it got out of hand ? We don't even know ( that I'm aware of ) if her grades were solid or r even above average & expulsion was solely based on the party damage & the fact she didn't ask her parents for help with the Uni -board members .
With Brennan recruiting a college-aged woman, I'm beginning to suspect that he has already recruited Emma when at Berkley, and she is already a spy working undercover. I'm beginning to think that her current behavior is part of her act to be accepted by the organization that she is trying to get into.
If Joss accepts Brennan's offer, it will be fun to see her face when Emma comes in to give her her orientation.
I haven't read this in any spoilers or even rumors to this effect, but it would be very in character to me. It actually came to me in the middle of the night, last week.
I would love for there to be a back story about how Anna and Robert were initially recruited as WSB agents, as part of the story. Were the tactics the same, back when the WSB was more of an altruistic organization, rather than the gray one that Joss is experiencing now, and possibly that Emma already experienced?
I'm not sure why Emma is being such a twit either? Except to propel the character into a new position with in the 20 something's ? I saw posted elsewhere that this attitude would make sense if Emma was the one being recruited by WSB instead of Joss
But that would make too much sense for GH to write !;
